I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes and groaned. Why must I leave the curtains open almost every night. I slowly sat up and stood up walking to shut the curtains and then heard my phone ding meaning I had a new message. I quickly dived back on the comfortable bed and grabbed my phone unlocking it to see the mystery message.

From: Annalise
Are we hanging today at the book store? Message me asap!

I honestly forgot about that. Oops.

To: Annalise
Yes. I'm getting ready now see you in a few!

I quickly sat my phone on the night stand and walked to my closet. I opened the doors and quickly grabbed my long sleeve black shirt and a pair of light colored pants. I slipped them on and grabbed my velvet red wedges and hopped on one leg each time I put one on. I then walked to the mirror and made sure my hair was okay enough since it was cut in a Bob. I sighed in relief as it was so I wouldn't have to waste time on it then I quickly grabbed my phone and small purse and headed out my apartment locking the door behind me.

I finally got to the bookstore after walking 15 minutes and smiled at Annalise when I sat down at one of the many tables in with her in the comfy Bookstore.

Annalise and I are very close we grew up together and this is are favorite place to come. We usually try to find different books to read each time just as a adventure.

Different people were walking around and scanning the books and I noticed one in particular. He was tall with a body that suit him and brown hair. His facial features were very attractive even under the stressed look he had.

"What are you starring at? Kila?" I turned looked at Annalise and I knew my face was blushed of embarrassment. I shook my head and smiled.
"Sorry. That guy over there looks lost." I laughed and tried to hide the embarrassment. She nodded and then her brows came together.
"What?" I asked concerned.
She smirked and nodded her head to him.
I looked slowly and saw him glancing at me looking like he was battling something with himself. He muttered something then shut the book and put it back on the book shelf. I watched closely then he turned my way and started walking. I panicked and looked back at Annalise. Shit shit shit!
I heard him clear his throat and I looked at him standing close but not to close at out table. He had a nervous look and I'm sure my face was red.
" Excuse me? I was..." He paused and I could feel myself eager for him to continue.
" I was wondering if you could help me find a interesting book? It's my first time coming into this store." He asked it hurriedly. I paused processing what he said then slightly smiled at him. "Of course. I've almost seen every book." I stood up and pushed my chair back under. I blushed as I saw Annalise smirking at me. I walked to the first shelf while he followed. "What kind of books are you into...." I paused realizing I didn't know his name. "Stephens. Tobias Stephens." I memorized his name and how it sounded coming off his tongue. He held his hand to me and I took it. "I'm Kila. Kila Edwards." He smiled and shook my hand.
"Very nice to meet you Kila and oh to answer your question I like horror and mystery. " I nodded and then turned to scan the books. This should be interesting.
