Dancing With the Devil

Prolouge

(I thought that the nature sounds would be nice to listen to while you read this to giving to a taste of what it's like there in the woods with Cory and Valentine)

  "Hide little boy. We'll always find you." They say as I hide inside the hollow of a oak tree. They chased me all the way into the woods today. I'm scared. They'll leave me out here if they find me. "Come on. We're just playing with you." I hear them advance closer. "We're gonna find you." I hold my breathe not wanting them to hear. I feel tears rolling down my cheeks as I cover my mouth to silence my soft cries. I hear the boys footsteps walking the opposite direction of my hiding spot. Someone looks into the tree. My heart pounds until they hold out a hand. 
  "Hurry. Take my hand I'll take you home Cory." They whisper sweetly. I take their hand hesitantly. They heave me out of the tree gently, pulling me into their arms. Though I have a tough persona when I'm scared, I'm scared and I'm a baby so I cling to them like a child. They look down at me, their purple eyes glowing slightly as they burn into mine as if looking into my soul. "You've been through so much today  haven't you?"
  "Huh? How did you-"
   "Sh~ If you keep talking they'll find you." They smile calmly, chuckling evilly. I open my mouth to speak but I'm stopped by their lips against mine. I tense slightly, my eyes wide before my body relaxes into his. My eyes slowly shut as I melt into the kiss. I feel myself slipping out of his grip as I become drowsy. I start to feel drunk from his lips. His embrace protects me from everything around us and I feel weightless like I'm flying. He licks my bottom lip asking to enter. I open my mouth allowing him to enter. I feel his tongue glide against mine as it enters my mouth. He intertwines our tongues together causing me to melt even more. I open my eyes to see his closed as well. His slowly open staring into mine and I feel him smirk into the kiss. My heart pounds again but from something different... lust. I deepen the kiss wrapping my arms around the tall man, my fingers in his silky black hair. I find my eyes closing again as he lifts me into his arms, pushing me against the tree roughly. A gasp escapes my mouth, my arms pinned at my sides. His face buries itself into my neck, his lashes tickles the sensitive flesh as he blinks slowly. Shivers are sent down my spine as I look up to the sky. 
   "When will I see you again?" I ask with a breathy tone. He chuckles and lifts his head looking into my eyes.  He says nothing just stares. I huff out a laugh and wrap my arms around his neck. I stare into his eyes intensely, smirking. "I asked you a question... when will I see you again?" I ask again, this time with dominance in my tone. 
    "Tonight. I promise and this time I'll stay and not leave you alone." I smile and pull his head down meeting our lips in a tender kiss. 
    "Thank you, Valentine." I whisper to him in a purr before he deepens our kiss immensely. 

   Damn it took me months to publish this fucking book god. I know it's short but the chapters will be way longer. Night guys. XOXO
