"I'm leaving town!"
"Why?" Officer Damien pleaded
"You just wait and see."

I remove a gun from under the desk.
I aim the gun at Officer Damien, I pull the trigger.
I shoot the officer in the hand and then straight in the heart.

"That's why," I sneered.

I'm running for my life, I have just realised that I'm a murderer, the feeling is indescribable. All I could think about are my friends, family and if I'm going to prison or not. The cops are after me. I'm petrified and I'm only 15 years old!

"Please don't hurt me, I'm sorry!" I plead.
"Please don't kill me, I'm only 15!" I tried to scream but they aren't listening.

I try to escape but I can't see anything and that makes everything worse.
Oh no! They've found me! I'm cornered! Guns are pointed at me left and right.
An officer shoot's me in my left shoulder.

After that cold, dark, horrible night I was sentenced 10 years to life in prison. I never knew that the officer I shot was a head chief.
It has been 15 years after that awful incident happened. I'm 30 years old and about to be let out. I've changed well at least, that's what the officers think.
