It had been about a year since their marriage. Life had been going pretty smoothly with a few bumps here and there, but overall, Jackson and Grey have enjoyed every minute living in their own house. The house was small, but an upgrade from their apartment. There were 2 bedrooms, 1 for them, and one for a little boy who would come over and hang out with the 2 lovers. He was a friend to them.

Maybe even like a little brother,

Or a son

Jackson shifted a pile of papers around on the dining room table, picked them all up, and but them in a box. Grey heard the top go on the box and walked over to see what progress Jackson has made. Grey smiled at Jackson and placed his hands on Jacksons. Jackson turned his head to Grey.

"Don't worry, why wouldn't he like it" Grey moved his hand from Jacksons to his back.

"Not sure, maybe just, maybe he wouldn't want to...." He trailed off and hung his head. He wasn't in the happiest of moods, it was just one of those days.

"He's gonna love it, don't worry" Grey replied hoping when he got here Jackson would be happier like he usually was.

~time skip~

There was a knock at the door.

It was time

Grey swung the door open to greet Mark, the boy who stays over sometimes, who was becoming 15 today.

"Happy birthday Mark!!" Jackson and Grey exclaimed. Grey was happy to see Jackson back in his normal happy and perky mood, he loved when he was happy. Mark stepped in the house and sat on the couch, waiting.

Mark hasnt changed since he was about 5 or 6. Something in his past made him not mentally grow older, he was still a child at heart. Marks knees shook in anticipation as he waited for the gifts to come over.

" Can we open the presents now" Mark questioned, looking like he was going to jump out of his skin at any moment.

"Come on Mark, you just walked in, take a rest for a minute" Jackson chuckled as he grabbed the shop rite brand Oreos from the cabinet. They were marks favorite, they weren't sure as to why they had to be shop rite brand but they didn't think about that too much. Jackson walked over and placed them on the coffee table in front of Mark.

"We will open your presents after I grab my drink. You don't have too many this year, but hopefully you will love them." Jackson bounced to the kitchen to grab his doctor pepper.

Jackson turned the corner and began to purposefully walk very slow.

"Aw come on I just wanna open my gifts" Mark pouted, laughing a little.

Jackson smiled, he loved seeing both Grey and Mark happy. He hoped Mark was going to be even happier after he saw his present. Grey grabbed the 2 boxes and placed them in front of Mark.

"Open this one first" Grey pointed to the smaller box on the left. Mark gladly took it, even though it was smaller. He ripped the wrapping paper and opened the lid of the box to reveal a Teen Titans Go shirt.

"WOW TEEN TITANS" Mark said happily, Teen Titans Go was his favorite show. He forgot about the other gift because he was so happy after getting the shirt.

That wasn't even the main present

Jackson picked up the larger box and handed it to Mark. It was extremely light and very big for something that didn't seem that big. Perhaps it was used to pretend it was something better than it actually is. Mark ripped the wrapping paper quickly and opened the box. There were papers in there, the top one had words written in bold at the top

Adoption papers

Mark froze, he stared at the papers for what seemed for hours. He finally looked at Jackson and Grey.

He was crying.

"This.....is something I've wanted, ever since I met you guys" he managed to choke out between sobs. He jumped up and ran over to each of them and hugged them tightly. They were also both crying. They were gonna have a son.

"Welcome home, Mark"
