One is from Johto,
One is from Sinnoh,
Another is from Unova,
And one from Kalos.
They wouldn't have thought to get where are they are at the same time. But once there, there are things that must be done... Things that weren't in the job description...
There was gentle shoves and pulling on the covers.
"Artemis...."
Still no answer..
He lowered his head.
"Why are you like this?"
He started pulling his friend off of her bed by her ankle.
"You're gonna be late.. Again.."
Before falling to the floor, she grabbed the side of the bed closest to the wall.
"Let me go...."
"You know you're gonna be late, right?"
"You're telling me something I already knew, Ken.."
"Then, come on!"
He tried pulling her out the bed, only for her to pull back against him.
"Let me go first."
Ken sighed and did as Artemis asked.

The snow was coming down, lightly dusting the street and sidewalks. The girl smiled. "You wanna get in your ball?" She asked her Lucario, who shook his head.
Her phone started ringing and she went to answer it, realizing it was one of her friends.
"Hello?"
"Artemis! You're actually up this time around... I called like ten times."
"Morning to you too, Crow."
"Where are ya, buddy?"
"Tell Artemis to get here soon! Cynthia has something to tell us!"
"I'm on my way, I just left out.. And what is Aevyn talking about?"
And with that, her friend hung up. "Okay, Crow abruptly hung up..." Artemis pulled a striped ball out and pressed the button, releasing her Altaria.
"Alright... You know where we're going."

Ten minutes later, Artemis ran through the entryway of the building, her partner following close behind. The two saw three people standing in their line of sight and stopped, almost tripping over their feet.
"And, time!! I knew it would be under ten minutes.. Aev, where's my ten dollars?" A white haired male said, turning to a girl with red hair who stood next to him.
"Hm? Ten dollars? For what?" The female replied, eating a cookie.
"Yah!! Don't play like that, Aevyn!" The first male exclaimed, making the girl and another male laugh. "Okay, okay, here.. Geez Crow, I thought you would've known by now that I keep my word." Aevyn, the red haired female, said as she handed her friend Crow the money she owed him.
"Late waking up again, Artemis?" The other male asked, a soft expression on his face. "Yeah, but I made it.." Artemis replied. "I can't blame you. Sleep is a great thing.. And that paired with a comfy bed is just heaven.." the male said, laughing slightly. "I'm guessing you woke up late too, Kat? I wouldn't expected that, coming from you. Crow maybe, but not you." The raven haired female said jokingly, the male laughing slightly and nodded. "I did actually." Kat, a male with dark gray hair with a streaked purple fringe, said.
"So, where's Cynthia?" Artemis asked.
Her Lucario turned to the large set of steps and pointed. "She's already here.."
The four turned, looking in direction of where Ken, Artemis' Lucario, was pointing. Coming down the steps was Champion of the Sinnoh region Pokémon League for many years. Her appearance barely changed, aside from the grey streaks showing in her lengthy blonde hair. She stopped at the bottom of the steps, standing in front of the four young adults.
"Artemis..."
