Chapter 1

Laura's Pov

I see my foster parents signing some papers and at that moment I knew what was happening and I knew that I was going to be sent to another foster home but I don't want to I'm tired of being sent to all these foster homes! So then I did something I thought I'll never do. I ran too my room and grabbed a bag and threw all my clothes into my bag and ran out threw the back but before I did I heard a familiar voice"where you going?" The voice said."I'm leaving Amber. I know that there going to send me to a new foster home and I don't want that anymore" I told her."plz don't go!" she said." I have too. btw I'll miss you Amber" I said while leaving. a couple minutes passed by I really didn't know where I was going but right now the only thing on my mind was getting away from all thous foster homes. I was to lost in my thoughts that I bumped into some crazy drunk looking girls. they where wearing revealing clothes." who do u think you are bumping into me!" one of the crazy looking girls said. then one of the girls who looked buff pushed me up against the wall and then did something unexpected she punched me right on the lip. That moment I was really pushed off my limit but before I can punch back I heard a siren heading this way. as the police car parked one of the police came out and walked up to me by now the girls ran away." you ok?" the girl cop said." yeah I'm fine" I said looking away from her. she then Stretched her index finger out towards my face and turned my face to face her then flashing her flashlight at my face." where are you're parents?" she said." I don't have any I'm a foster kid" I sad while squinting cuz of how bright the light was." oh. do you have any guardians?" she said then putting her flashlight away."no" I said."oh why don't you come to my house I also take care of foster kids" she said while sticking her hand out so I can get up. I gladly accepted it and got up then dusted the dirt off my butt. she then. Put her hand behind my back guiding me to the police car. after a couple minutes passed by she then stopped at a medium sized house. I then Got out of the car and grabbed my bag of clothes."well come on!" she said while walking to the front porch." you're going to love it here" she said making me smile but then my smile went away cuz of my cut lip." oh that must hurt well lets get inside and I'll clean that up for you!" She said."oh thank you!" I said. she then open the door to be greeted by a woman kissing her. by that point I knew for sure that she was well I didn't want to say that word." oh hi! what's you're name?" she said nicely." oh it's L-Laura" I said shyly." oh well nice to meet you my name is Stephanie and this is Emily!" she said. "are you hungry?" Emily said." a little bit" I said." oh well the soup is almost done. well why don't I take you to you're room" she said while guiding me to a medium sized room." this is going to be you're room and you have you're own bathroom. well kind of this bathroom is connected with one of our foster kids named Ross" she said."oh ok then. Well thank so much again" I said." well why don't you get changed into something more comfortable so you can go to sleep it's already" she says then glances at her watch"8:30pm. And also before you go to sleep you can come downstairs for some soup then you can go to sleep. oh yeah you also have to wake up early cuz I'm going to be taking you to school so I can register you" she said then leaving me to change. I felt so good it felt so good knowing someone cared for me. I then went to go take a shower cuz I kind of smelled. after I was done I changed into something more comfortable(the picture of what she is wearing is on Instagram @Bella6219 and also how the house looks) once I was done I slowly walked downstairs admiring the pictures hanging on the wall. once I mad it downstairs I was greeted by a bowl of soup"oh yeah let me clean that bloody lip for you" Stephanie said while getting the alcohol then dabbing it on my lip I slightly jumped back cuz it stingy. after she was done I heard loud screaming and laughing coming from the hallway.
