Chapter 14: Poison Ivy Arrives

Once Jake and I are both ready we walk to the room that smells like food. We both knew we were in the right place when we saw Patty stacking waffles in a tower. Patty looks at us cheerfully, "Hey guys! Look! It's the leaning tower of WAFFLES!!" Patty yells and ignores the shushing of other hotel guests. Jake chuckles and walks over to Liz. I walk over to Kid, "Hey, I was promised waffles?" I say smiling. Kid smirks and points to a table full of waffles. I slowly walk up to the table. "YAY!" I say in excitement. "Just as promised." Kid grins. I grab a plate and help myself. For the first time in a while, everything felt. normal. Kid and I were talking about Panic! At the Disco's album. While Liz, Patty, and Jake were talking about how school grades are stupid. Wow, Liz actually wasn't bothering me today. She seemed to be in a really good mood. I wonder why. Right at that moment, the room's window shattered and knifes were falling everywhere. People were screaming and running out of the room taking their breakfast with them. Then a woman with dirty blonde hair, and tattoos of Ivy's on each arm came inside the room. The only difference was that the right arm had a tattooed sleeve of Ivys' starting from her wrist up while her left arm only had one Ivy. I stared from under the table I was hiding in. Poison Ivy. She looked even scarier than I imagined. Once the knifes stopped falling, the only ones left in the room was Jake, Liz, Patty, Kid, and I. Ivy spoke, "Which one of you is known as Blake Rosewood?" She asks. I poke my head from the table. Ugh..seriously Blake?!? Why didn't you just keep hiding?!? Ivy looks at me and says, "Everyone else, leave. This girl will be staying with me." She commands. Liz smiles and drags Patty along with her as she walks out of the room. "DON'T YOU DARE GRAB HER." Jake and Kid shout. Ivy laughs sarcastically, "You boys better move along, or Blake won't be the only one dying.." I gulp loudly. I really don't want to die yet. Okay Blake, come back to your senses. I stand up and look at Jake. Jake nods at me and I transform into a scythe. Kid realizes Liz and Patty are gone, but stays with his arms raised ready to fight. Jake jumps up and aims for Ivy's arm, but she dodges and smiles. "You boys just won't give up will you? I really don't have time for this." She makes two knives float in the air and they aim towards Kid. Kid's eyes widen. The knives dart to Kid and they pin him up to wall. "Kid!!!!" I shout and transform back into a human. "Blake no!" I hear Jake say and I turn to find Jake pinned exactly the same way. My eyes widen as I watch my feet rise off the floor and Ivy turns me around to face her. She smiles, "You're coming with me. Wether you like it, or not..."
