Kaneki x Touka (lemons)

Chapter 8

----- Touka's POV -----

I was still in shock over yesterday so the manager let me have the day off and being me I wanted to see Yoriko as I hadn't seen her since that day. I rang her up and told her to meet me here as usual. While I waited I ordered a coffee from Nishiki as, I didn't really wanna see Kaneki as I'm pretty sure he's still embarrassed about what he had said. Anyway I ordered two coffee's and as they came almost on que Yoriko sat down.

"HEYYYY TOUKA!" She had said it a little too loud and people was staring. In response I gave an awkward smile and laughed. The people stopped staring a second after and I went back to leaning on the table. Yoriko moved over so she was next to me and placed her hand on my back, 

"Hey Touka you okay? I mean you haven't been to anything recently and then that stunt the other day you still haven't explained."  I smiled at her and I was so happy someone cared about me so deeply, other than Kaneki.

"Hey really don't worry I've never ever been so happy in my life. I've had my feelings returned, made up with my brother and I've built a better friendship with Hinami. Now seriously I'm just so shocked on how lucky I am." She returned a light smile. We continued to talk and talk until I felt a pair of muscular arms wrap around my neck and, a pair of lips pecking my cheekbone. At this point I was redder than red and I grabbed the arms and pulled them off. Kaneki looked down with a saddened expression then, he noticed Yoriko and he jolted back looking embarrassed. Yoriko had this amazing expression it was worth the look it was a hint of embarrassment and surprise.

"T..T..touka... I'msosorry." With that I stood up turned around and hugged him.

"Hey it's fine now get back to work before the manager kills both of us." We both giggled and he skipped off. I sat back down and sighed heavily. 

"So Touka who was that guy?????" She raised an eyebrow. she must have forgotten about the other day which I was kinda thankful for.

"Oh that's Kaneki I've known him for a couple years now and well we kinda kissed and that led to more and well this is awkward." 

"Oh dear. You're not pregnant right?"

"WHAT!!! no no no." Hearing me shout Kaneki ran over and stood near to me.

"What's going on? Touka you alright!"

"Oh God yeah yeah I'm fine."

"Good. Yaknow it's lunch break in five minutes may as well take it early." With that he sat next to me and led his head on my head. I pushed away slightly embarrassed. Ever since high school I felt awkward about lovey-dovey stuff especially in public. In high school I kept to myself and avoided people. I knew I'd have go back to college soon, same with Kaneki. I swore I'd bring it up but I was always so nervous to.

"Kaneki ya'know how we are supposed to still be at college still. Maybe we should go back, meet friends make stupid memories."

"Touka that ain't a bad idea. How about that then." I nodded, this was a challenge I had to face. We wrapped up the day I said bye to Yoriko and decided to go bed early. Tomorrow I was going to go back to school for the first time in two months, Kaneki had to redo a year so he'd be in my year. I drifted off into a deep sleep around 10:30pm.

I woke to Kaneki hugging me I pushed him off and got ready. I woke up Kaneki he got ready and we was off. When we got to the gates memories came flooding back and I could feel myself holding back tears. My heart hurt, my stomach became an ocean and i felt sick. I tugged at Kaneki's sleeve he gave me an reassuring smile and held his hand out for me. I grabbed it and we walked into the large building. 

Within seconds people raced at us asking how I had been and where I was I simply ignored them and went to class.

Thanks guys if you still are reading I haven't been my best recently and not really in the mood also internet keeps going. I hope you are enjoying so far I've had fun writing but I don't know how long I can do this recently I've been under a lot of stress and pressure sorry. Love you guys,
