Wrenkit awoken from her sleep, her green eyes opened. She was a small ball of brown, fluffy fur. She parted her jaws in a yawn, jumping from the voice of another she-cat.

"Oh look! Wrenkit is awake! Come here, Wrenkit!" Shinefur, a ginger she-cat mewed, sitting on a bd of moss. Wrenkit lfted herself to her paws, glancing at Fiercekit, a dark gray kit, then Treekit, a dark brown kit. She waddled over to the entrance of the nursery, her tail lifting.

"Not that way, mousebrain! You need to go and talk to Shinefur." Treekit hissed, scaring little Wrenkit. Wrenkit twitched the tip of her tail, hardening her gaze onto the dark brown kit. Wrenkit padded over to Shinefur, who looked at Treekit sternly, before licking her paw and throwing it over her head.

"Good job! You're walking very well, and I'm sure you'll make a fine apprentice in time." Shinefur mreowed, smiling at the brown she-kit. Wrenkit smiled back, her green eyes bright. She has a question in her mind, where was she? Why is she in here? "Where am I?" Wrenkit asked shyly, lowering her head and her tail.

"What's that? You don't know where you are? Oh, little one, You're in Thunderclan's nursery, tucked away safely in the forest. Thunderclan will need good little kits like you in the future!" Shinefur purred, licking Wrenkit's forehead. Wrenkit looked like she was wagging her tail, which was pretty odd for a cat. Wrenkit squeaked in happiness from Shinefur's sandpapery tongue on her forehead. "But enough talk from me. Why don't you go play with Treekit? I'm sure he will apologize for calling you 'Mousebrain.'"She added, nudging Wrenkit towards Treekit, laying down with her paws under her chest. Wrenkit glanced at the dark brown kit, her fur bristling. She doesn't like being called a mousebrain, at all. Instead, she wandered over to Fiercekit.

"Hewo!" He squeaked, smiling every so happily, his tongue was lolling out his mouth! Strange, is he a dog? Wrenkit thought, smiling at him and giggling at the sudden thought. She glanced at Shinefur, who was motioning her nose towards Treekit. She lowered her head and padded over, towards the kit who looked like her, quite alot.

"Hello!! Im Treekit! I wanna be a big warrior like Shinefur when I grow up!" He mewed excitedly, standing up in a flash and puffing his chest out. Isn't Shinefur a queen?? "I've heard Elders talk about their warrior days- It sounds really exciting!- Battles, Hunting, Exploring- and-aaaand leaving the camp!!! But we can't leave the camp 'cause we are kits and they won't let us, I tried!" He had to take a breath, since he was talking so much. Wrenkit just listened, not saying a word, he's just going to babble no matter what shes trying to say.  "They say it's bad to go for many reasons! Twoleg monsters on the thunderpath north of here. Shadowclan spies.. scary rivers... Maybe I don't want to be a warrior anymore..." He mewed silently, sitting down, before he flinched slightly. He looked like he got pounded on the belly and it won't stop hurting. Wrenkit flattened her ears, tilting her fuzzy head.

"Owww, My belly hurts! I don't feel well, can you tell Shinefur?" Treekit mewed, curling up in a ball to cope with the dull pain. Wrenkit nodded, bouncing up and ran over to Shinefur, slipping on the ground and falling on her side, bouncing up like nothing happened and bounced to Shinefur. Wrenkit jumped around in front of her face. "Shinefur Shinefur! Treekit's belly is hurting!" She yowled, stilling jumping up and down.

"Stop bouncing would you? Oh, Treekit isn't feeling well? I'm sure Cloudleaf, the medecine feline, has some herbs for his upset belly! Why don't you go talk to her?" Shinefur meowed, twaitching the tip of her tail and glancing at the curled ball of dark brown fur, her eyes darkening. Wrenkit nodded, before turning to the entrance of the nursery, before hesitating. She glanced at Shinefur with questioning eyes. "Oh sorry! You can find her over where her den is, underneath that big rock." Shinefur yowled, straighting her back and wrapping her tail around her paws.

Wrenkit ran out the nursery, looking around excitedly, staring at the trees and funny looking moss. She ran towards the kill pile, playing with a mouse, batting it around with her paws. It's a fun game only cats understand. She shook her head to get her mind off the mouse. She has a mission! And that mission is to find Cloudleaf, and help Treekit! Who is quite bigger from her. She was tiny compared to the big world, but it didn't scare her. No one can beat her! She scrambled towards a light brown she-cat, digging her tiny claws in the dirt so she wont slip like she did in the nursery.

"Oh! Hello Little One! I'm Cloudleaf, you see this rock? This is my den. The latrge rock that is built into is where our leader, Skystar, gives speeches!!" Cloudleaf mewed, nosing towards the rocks. Wrenkit didn't want to know where she was! She want's to help Treekit! And get a praise from Shinefur!

She cut her off when she was talking. "Treekit is sick! His belly is hurting!" Cloudleaf stopped talking, looking down at Wrenkit.

"Your friend has a bellyache? Here, I'll give you some some herbs to give him," Cloudleaf hands her a normal looking leaf. How can this help?? "That's a chervil plant, which will help him. Give him it, please." She added, noticing her confused expression. Wrenkit thanked her, her voice muffled so it sound like: "Vank Vyou" Wrenkit sped towards the nursery, slipping again, jumping up and giving Treekit the leaf.

"Oh! Thanks a billion Wrenkit!" Treekit mewed, taking the leaf, basically snatching it with his paw. Wrenkit puffed her chest out, her chin held high, so was her short tail. Treekit began to chomp it down, leaving nothing. Treekit stuck his tongue out with a "Blegh!"

"This tastes nasty! But- my belly isn't hurting!" Treekit yowled, bouncing up and hopping around near Wrenkit. Wrenkit ducked out the way, laughing. Wrenkit wants to tell Shinefur how she saved Treekit. She might be happy, because she is so helpful.

"Oh he's feeling better you say? Thank you so much Wrenkit. I have a mouse I caught yestarday, you look hungry. Have it!" Shinefur mewed, nudging a dead mouse towards her. "Yay! It's plump too!!" Wrenkit mewed happily, grabbing the mouse in her jaws, dropping it and eating the whole thing just in a few bites. Wrenkit is a little thirsty. Wrenkit padded out the nursery, her eyes landinkg on a small pond near Cloudleaf. She ran over, falling halfway in soaking her face and paws. She jumped back, swiping her tongue around her jaws. She lowered her head down to the water's surface, and lapped up some water.
