Part 19: first show

Elisha

Friday came so fast it felt like I barely had time to breath. Since my Sunday night talk with Leo nothing has changed between us, that's a good thing might I add. Nothing was going on between Kelly and me either besides friendship.

B5 and us girls were so absorbed in the energy coming from the Atlanta audience. Backstage was a buzz. I think Latasha and I were the only ones nervous.

"I know saying relax won't make you feel any better about the situation but you need to," Samantha coaxed us. "You know the moves you can probably do em in your sleep the way we've been practicing non stop. You both got this," she continued to coach as she hugged us.

"Thanks, Sam," I say while hug her. She was right I did know the dances, hell, I could probably do em backwards if ever challenged to. Her encouraging words should have lightened my spirit, my nerves were just stronger though.

Jason

"Never been in the guests seating at a concert before," Lacey says squeezing past me and Leo with her son to get to their reserved seats.

"Yeah I know, it pays to know the talent," Leo joked.

"Talk about it," Lacey agrees observing the stage. "These are great seats."

The lights dim and the crowd goes wild. The stage then lights up but you only see silhouettes, it's all five members of B5 and if possible the crowd gets even louder. A dramatic cymbal sounds and then five girl shadows appear above the boys most likely a stair level above them. I can immediately tell which one is Elisha, the crowd is still excited but you could tell they were a little stunned by the additional stage guests.

Just say if I was. **Beat Beat**

The crowd screams as the one singing walks closer to the front of the stage.

*Would you love me back girl?*

Latasha

I know the show was sold out but it was amazing to see it. Not an empty seat as far as the eye could see. And as soon as I was on stage with the fans blaring screams in my ear my nervousness grew numb.

I paid great attention to move after move until the music started to play, then the rhythmic beats took over and felt I really had nothing to worry about. Everyone on stage was all smiles.

Samantha

Finally it was intermission, all us girls were backstage changing and getting beverages while the Boys were on stage talking to the crowd trying to get them involved. I hear Hydrolics playing, that's our que to get back on stage. As I line up with the girls I hear the stage manager bark her orders at us.

Up on stage the DJ mix of the song was still going and two brave girls were attempting to do the dance. One of them was 22 and the other 17. Patrick and Kelly were hyping the crowd up while the others rehydrated and toweled off. Us girls took over for the two before the girls were escorted off the stage. Dustin introduced us and told the fans that they'd see us, as the back up dancers, more in the future.

He encourages the fans to show us love before Patricks goes up and introduces his solo song.

A very sexy mix begins and we all pair up.

Narration

Patrick sung his solo the others danced and the crowd grew hype again.

"Alright lets give it up for the girls, they compliment our music oh so well," Dustin says as the crowd cheers the girls off the stage and B5 finishes the concert by themselves.

Elisha

"This is so awesome," I exclaim holding onto Lacey tipsily leading her up to the VIP room where the after party is being held. She giggles at my side as Leo and Jason try to keep up behind us.

"You guys were great," Roo said following us in, high-fiving everyone.

"Hecks yeah we were great," Latasha cheers.

It was amazing. Here in this room we were champions celebrating our victory; music was vibrating through the room and my head bobbed along with it.

This is what I have to look forward to for the rest of the year? Lovely, just lovely.
