"Bye dad!" I call from the kitchen when the hear the front door open.
It's Sunday but he likes to get all his paper work done on the weekend so he has more time during the week, for more work. He is the boss anyway. It's not like we are rich or anything. He gets a fair share of money but it's just a car shop he rents. He only has one employee. Some horny mechanic who tried to make a pass on me. I think his name was Rett or something weird like that.
"Bye Aiden!" I hear my dad holler then the door shutting and the jingling of keys meaning he is locking the door.
I run up stairs without my morning caffeinated beverage because I have plans to go with my friend in about an hour. My dad calls it my unhealthy addiction but I like to call it my normal obsession. Coffee is my daily dose of medicine. Do you have anything that you can't ever live without? Mine is coffee obviously. I can't paint without coffee. When I get to the top of the stair case I go into my room and kick the door shut. I walk over to my clear plastic desk and sit in the rolly chair that is already pushed out just for me. I go on my computer than an unfathomable amount of stickers on the back and go to skype. I search for my friends and press the blue call button. All my best friends answer except Clarkes name disappears meaning she didn't answer and has something better to do. She's probably with her no good player boyfriend, Alec who is obviously just using her for his benefit.
She says its love but I and all my friends know just what he is looking her and its something that is in her pants if you know what I mean. Alec is considered one of the bad boys at our school. Clarke is a pretty girl I understand that he chose her for his game. All the popular bad boys pick a girl every year and try to see who can date them for the longest. None of then have found a girl yet except him so I guess he is in the lead. The thing is, everybody knows about thier little game but they still fall for their charm. I have common sense, no offense to Clarke but she is very nieve.
"Hey Aiden!" all my friends greet me in unison which is kind of scary.
"Hey guys." I greet back. I called them because I have nothing better to do until 10:00 which is my coffee date with Ty. I could hang out with my brother but what girl hangs out with their brother am i right?
"Okay you guys will never guess what is happening tonight!" Alyssa squeals in delight.
Alyssa is the gossip girl if you couldn't tell by her question. If you have questions around school you go to her because she most likely knows. That's how she is so popular but she says it's a blessing and a curse because if she knows something somebody doesn't want out they will threaten her or worse. She is very trustworthy though. I trust her with many of my secrets. Maybe that's why everybody tells her everything come to think of it.
"It's Ryd..." Lexi one of my other friends start to say but is then cut off my Alyssa.
"I already told you dummy I am asking them!" she says feigning anger.
Alyssa isn't an angry type of person. She never gets mad like, at all but, if she does which is a very rare situation to be in, meaning you must have done something super bad, you'll never see the light of day. She is always a positive person which can get really annoying especially to her best friend Lexi Night. Lexi is a skater chick so it's really odd to see Alyssa and Lexi side by side because of their choice in clothing. They are always joined at the hip though so it doesn't really bother me or Ty and it shouldn't anyone else.
