Chapter 29: Day 3

Yuwi Corveral's POV

"As I was saying, nakita ko nga yung bruhildang Zhyra na yun kagabi kausap nung isa sa mga hayop na may sadaytist ng HRT." sabi ni Xinon na kanina pa nagwawala. I know that, I heard his voice. It's actually impossible for us to forget them.

"I heard his voice that time though it's vague. I can't here them clearly. Probably because they knew about our special abilities." Winter said causing us to nod.

"What's the plan then?" tanong ni Venice kaya napatingin sila sa akin.

"Torture and kill her." seryosong sabi ko tsaka sila gulat na lumingon sa akin, well I'm just kidding.

"Joke." I said awkwardly causing them to stand up and walk away from me. Them including Winter. Am I that bad on playing jokes?

"Wa mo nang ulitin baby Yuwi. Kinikilabutan ako." sabi ni Xinon kaya nginitian ko siya. Nasa may labasan na sila ng tent bago ako ulit magsalita.

"Let me do the work about her." sagot ko tsaka sila tumango. Nauna silang lumabas kaya sumunod na din ako. It seems like I just spend my time sleeping. Third day, we will have a bonfire activity with truth or dare. I just walk and seat besides my groupmates, that's between Riverehren and Zhyra.

"Riverehren..." I called him poking his shoulder. Tumingin siya agad sa akin na nag-aalala. Do I look like I'm going to sleep again?

"Why? Are you sick? Do you need something? Nahihilo ka?" sunod-sunod na tanong niya kaya napangiti ako. I don't want to tell him but staying close to Zhyra gives me headache.

"Ah no. Can we change seats?" tanong ko. Mukhang nag-alangan pa siya bago tumango at tumayo. Umurong ako kaya siya na yung nasa gitna namin, much better. Staying contact with her is torture.

"So let's start." Ms. Dima said as she picked a name. I don't know that student but his sharing about his family conflict. The Truth or dare thing continues until she called out Venice.

"Truth." sabi ni Venice.

"Good. Then the question will come from Gina." sabi ni Ms. Dima kaya tumayo si Gina. I think she's one of my classmates.

"Ahem. Ahm Venice, do you love somebody here, Romantically? If yes, who is that lucky guy and if no, why?" tanong niya. I look at V. Is it Shiro or Neo?

"Yes. I think I love somebody here, Romantically." sagot niya na nagpatili sa mga kasama namin.

"And I'm sorry but his name is classified. I think, it's better." sabi niya tsaka umupo. I heard mumbles about her answer and all I can do is to emit negative glares. The game continues, Xinon called three persons after Venice. Neo got the chance to give question.

"Peace tayo nagtruth ka eh." sabi ni Neo tsaka nagpeace sign. "What do you think about Blaze?" tanong niya kaya napairap si Xinon.

"I think his pervert, conceited and evil jerk..." sabi niya. I smiled as I saw how Blaze raised his lips, "but I think he's kind too." sabi ni Xinon tsaka umupo.

"That's it? Bitin yung sagot!" one of our classmate said. We just ignore her and continue with the game. I'm sleepy. When will they call my name?

Pinunasan ko yung luha ko na tumulo pagkahikab ko.

"Here." nilingon ko si Riverehren na sinandal yung ulo ko sa balikat niya.

"Just lean for a moment." sabi niya kaya sumunod ako. Weird thing, for a moment I saw his face turns red.

"Next, Cruzveda." He automatically stand up. Good thing, I sit up straight first.

"The question master is Andrew." sabi ni Ms. Dima kaya tinignan ko yung guardian ko na nakangiti sa akin.

Don't ask stupid question.

Nginitian niya lang ako tsaka nagtanong kung truth or dare.

"Truth." Riverehren answered with confidence. Shiro look at me and his question turns us upside down. He's playing around again!

Someone's POV

Pinapanood ko lang sila. Wala na naman akong magawa sa lungga ko. I walk around while their busy playing truth or dare. I remember that game. Nilalaro din namin yan nung kapanahunan ko. I smile with the idea. Hindi ako nagsasalita at baka marinig ako nila Winter at Yuwi. Hindi problema si Venice at nahaharangan naman ako ng mga puno, si Drew naman... that kid knows that I'm here.

Pumasok ako sa tent nila Yuwi. Naglagay ako ng gamot sa bag niya bago lumabas. That medicine wont stop the poison but it will slower down the effects.

"Following my daughter huh?" nilingon ko naman siya. Kagaya nung unang beses ko siyang nakilala, nakapanglumang ninja outfit siya.

"It's 28th century man. Fashion up." bulong ko habang pumapalakpak para di marinig nila Yuwi yung boses ko. Nilingon naman niya yung kinalalagyan nila Yuwi bago ako hinatak paalis. Nung nakalayo na kami tsaka niya ko binitawan at hinarap. Tinangal niya yung maskara niya kaya napahinto ako saglit.

"Long time no see, Arch." bati ko sa kanya. Tinignan niya ko mula ulo hangang paa bago tuluyang umalis. That guy, galit pa din ba siya sa akin?
