A Lion Born From Snakes

The Beginning of the Trials

Since none voted I chose Alma and Kate. On with the story.

Harry: I was sitting with Draco waiting for the four teams to be announced. We unconsciously grabbed each other's hands and blushed just before Dumbledore began to speak.

Third Person: Dumbledore walked up to the goblet and pulled out the four slips of paper that didn't get burnt in the now extinguished flames. "The first team will be Victor Krum and Kate Prinston. The second team is Flure Delacure and Alma Elisabeth Ramond. The third team is Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy. And the fourth and final team is Freddy Artimus Garsis and Sebastian Alexander Raynolds. (I had too. I thought of several different storylines with different combinations and in the end I loved all the new characters so I'm using them all. This interruption was brought to you by Grell the Queen of fan girls.)

Draco: I couldn't contain my enthusiasm and I hugged Harry. He seemed to be just as excited because he hugged me back just as hard. "Hey let's send a letter to Padfoot. I'm sure he'll be excited."

Harry: "Good idea let's go right after we get the information for the first task." We walked into Dumbledore's office to meet the others and get the clues for the challenge and then we went up to the owlery. After that we went to the room of requirements to fill everyone else in on what was happening.

Time skip to the first challenge because Grell is impatient.

Third Person: The students where all gatherd at the quidditch pitch to watch the first trial. The teams were to complete an obstacle course and then find a way to reach the top of one of the goal hoops without a broom to reach the next clue. Harry and Draco seemed to run through the course without problems and we're the first to reach the clue. They were followed by Flure and Alma, Krum and Kate, and Freddy and Sebastian in that order.

Sebastian:  I wasn't too sad about coming in last because it was fun to watch Harry run the race. Sadly I could smell that he was destined to be with another but then why is my creature side so drawn to him. My submissive neko Alec wants nothing more than to be with him but I can't come between him and his intended.

Harry: Ron, Hermione, Luna and the others decided to invite the other three teams to join us in the room if requirements for a small celebration and to stay with us until the trials where over so we spent the night celebrating and getting everyone settled. Freddy, Sebastian, Draco, Ron and I shared one of the rooms. Dean, Semus, Krum, Neville and Blaise where in the other room. Then Alma, Luna, Kate, Hermione, and Pansy where in the third room. And lastly Fred and George where in the tower. The way our room was set up we had to share beds. Draco, Sebastian and I had one and Ron, and Freddy had the other. The night soon became cold and we huddled together for warmth. When I awoke in the morning Sebastian and Draco where both laying with their heads on my chest and holding hands across my stomach. Freddy and Ron where cuddling in the other bed. All them still peacefully asleep and warming each other. I wanted to get ready but to do so without waking Draco and Sebastian would be difficult and oddly enough having both of them with me made something inside me extremely happy. ( The writing in italics like this is Harry speaking with his creature side.)  Who are you. (I am your creature side. My name is Astrum.) Hi Astrum. What are you? And why are you so happy. (I am a dragon. And I'm happy because you have found our mates.) We have two mates? So Draco and Sebastian are our mates. (Yes Harry now I must go but don't worry I'll come out completely when you're 15. Take care of them.) I'll gard them with my life. Bye Astrum.
I can't believe I'm part dragon. But even better Draco and Sebastian are my mates. This is going to be a very interesting year.
