Mistake

-Chapter One-

I am probably going to do author notes at the end after this chapter, but I wanted you all to know that I am going to put the list of characters in the next chapter. Enjoy!

BEEP BEEP BEEP (alarm noise)

Fuck...School. 

I quickly hop out of bed and go to brush my teeth. I look at the counter. There is soap everywhere. 

"What the hell." I say out loud. And just on time my sister walks into the bathroom we share.

"Ugh, I thought you were asleep, I was cleaning the bathroom since you got your nail polish everywhere." My sister Makenzie says annoyed.

I painted my nails last night because I was overly bored. Clearly she thinks one drop of nail polish is worth going on a full on cleaning spree.

"Sorry." I mumble and quickly walk to my closet.

I don't want to fight with her because she will tell mom and dad, they already hate me enough.

I'll just brush my hair and teeth at Jesse's. Jesse is my only friend. Everyone else pretty much thinks I'm literal shit. I met Jesse one year at summer camp. Yes, I go to summer camp every year. 

I grab all my school supplies and put them in my school bag. Then I grab a Crybaby T-shirt and some white ripped jeans and put them in my school bag as well. I run downstairs grab and apple and run out to my car. Yes my parents hate me, but they don't want me to walk to school and have other people think we are poor. 

I quickly drive to Jesse's because we are late. After a couple minutes I pull into her driveway, type in her garage code and run through the door, into her bedroom. She was in her bathroom finishing her makeup.

"Really Taylor, what did Kenzie do this time?" Jesse asked annoyed.

"She had to clean the whole bathroom because I got a drop of nail polish on the counter." I said rolling my eyes. 

If you have not already realized my sister, has major OCD about cleaning. It gets highly annoying sometimes. Once I needed to borrow her phone charger, and I accidentally got chocolate. She would not use that thing till I cleaned it about 9,000 times. But hey, at least she let me use her charger. 

"Oh my fucking god, that girl is totally a piece of work." She said practically yelling.

I agreed then quickly threw on my outfit and threw my pajamas on her bed. I was sleeping over after school since it was a Friday and neither of us had any other plans. I ran to the bathroom brushed out my hair, brushed my teeth, and put on a little mascara. 

I hated my look. I never did my hair, I only wore a little makeup, and I wore band tees everyday. But the again, I have nobody to impress. 

"Ugh, Jesse you take forever!" I say as I dramatically fall on her bed.

"Oh shut the fuck up, I always take this long and you never complain, whats different today?" She said laughing.

"Nothing. I"ll just be quiet" I say while pouting.

She finally finished.

"Oh stop being a baby and get your flat ass in my car." She says and hits my ass.

I scream and chase her all the way to her car, which is not far at all but I'm still panting like a dog.

"We really need to work out." I say still panting while getting into the car.

"Let's go to the gym tomorrow!" She yells excitedly.

"No." I whine.

"So sad to bad buttercup." She says with a giggle.

I roll my eyes, I love this girl so much.

We finally arrive at school, 12 minutes later then usual. I like being there 20 minutes before the bell, but now I only have eight. 

"I have barley any time to eat my apple." I say. 

But when I turn, Jesse is not next to me, she is standing with a big group motioning for me to come over.

 I know this won't be good. Its probably just two stupid jocks fighting over some hot dumb cheerleader. 

But I was so far from right. 

When I walk over to the crowd, I see this really hot guy get out of his car. Everyone starts chanting the name Toby. Even Jesse is doing it!

"Who the fuck is that?" I say to Jesse.

"I have no idea Tay, but he is hella hot!" Jesse squeals

Ugh, only Jesse will squeal over a guy she hasn't even met. I was so deep into my own thoughts about this Toby kid that I didn't realize someone was waving there hand in front of my face.

It was this kid Toby. 

"Hey, I'm Toby." He said while flipping his hair.

"Uh, hey I'm Taylor." I said awkwardly.

"Ew omg, why is Toby talking to her?" Some dumb cheerleader said.

"Yeah she literally has no boobs and no ass." Another person said.

Everyone was staring so I freaked out and ran to the girls bathroom. I quickly went into the biggest stall and sat on the floor

"Oh my shit, what the hell just happened?!" I said out loud to myself.

Nobody ever talks to me in this school except for Jesse and my teachers, why did Toby want to talk to me?

All the sudden the door opened, which wasn't weird because its a public bathroom and I expected it to be Jesse to come and see I was fine. But it wasn't.

"Hey bitch, whoops I mean Taylor stay away from Toby or you will regret it." An unfamiliar voice said.

"Um is this my conscience talking?" I say jokingly.

"Are you fucking retarded or something, it's Brooklyn. The girl you called a slut last week during 5th period and everybody heard." Brooklyn said annoyed.

"Oh sorry I don't have your voice memorized in the back of my head." I snickered.

"Ugh, whatever just stay away from Toby or it will be a big mistake." She said then stomped out.

Just then Jesse ran in and crawled under the stall.

"Holy shit, I was about to come in but then Brooklyn ran in before me looking all pissed so I stayed back to not make it worse." Jesse said laughing.

"She really thinks she scares me." I laugh along with her.

" Are you going to actually leave Toby alone? When you ran away he kinda looked upset." She said with a smirk.

"I don't know, he interests me, I kinda want to get to know somebody who doesn't already hate me." I say seriously.

"Wow" Jesse says shocked.

"Brooklyn never said Toby and I can't be just friends." I say innocently

"Oh honey, with that look he gave you, you are going to be way more then friends. She says with a smile.

"Ha! No that has to be a mistake." I said with a laugh.

I was soooo scared to finally write this because I feel like there are so many mistakes (lmao), but in the end I said fuck it, I'm putting this on Wattpad.
