"I want to explore more places..""If I leave no one will notice right?"
"Maybe even just for a while.."
These were thoughts that circulated in a young girls head. She wanted to see the world more, because she had no clue what to do with herself. Her name was Myra, she had burgundy colored hair and brown eyes. She was a shy girl and only had one true friend at the time. Everyone else shunned her as if she was a monster. Myra had no clue as to why everyone hated her, or why they ignored her. One day she got tired of feeling like an outcast so she decided on venturing off.
Myra picked up her phone and called her best friend, Zorie. Zorie was slightly taller than her with dark red hair and blue eyes. She had a bad temper at times and worried a lot for Myra. They had been friends for about three years even though they stopped talking a few times. The phone rang a bit before Zorie answered. "Hey, what's up?" Zorie asked excitedly. "Nothing much.. Can I ask you a favor?" Myra asked her, worried of what her answer would be. "Yeah go ahead!" Zorie responded. "How would you like to take a journey with me? Just for a little while, and we could meet new people." Myra tried to explain her plan in the best way possible. Zorie went quiet and bursted out laughing, "I was waiting for you to ask! I'll get packed up and head over there in a few." Myra laughed faintly, "Alright see you when you get here." They both hung up and started to pack their bags. Myra grabbed her sword, placing it on her back, and packed up some food and clothing. Zorie packed some medicine and clothing along with some drinks for the road. She rummaged through her drawers and grabbed her wallet before heading to Myra's house.
A loud knock at the door was heard so Myra went to see who it was, but ended up tripping over one of her bags. The door knob turned as the door slid slowly open. Myra looked up and seen Zorie glancing over at her. "Girl what the hell happened to you?" She said trying not to laugh. Myra stood up quickly and looked away, "I was taking a short break from packing." Zorie shook her head and laughed more, "Whatever you say Myra."
Grabbing a pen and a piece of paper, they then placed a note on the table for Myra's mother that said:
"I'm sorry mama, I have to get out and find new things, and meet new people. I can't stay locked up in the house anymore. I want to feel like I'm a human being for once in my life. Zorie is coming with me so we will be fine, I hope you understand!"
-Love,
Myra xoxo.Myra packed up the rest of her things and the girls headed out the door. Zorie looked at Myra, then at the ground before mumbling to herself, "I hope you won't have to find out the truth anytime soon.." Myra glanced over at Zorie and blinked several times. "You alright, you look a bit down." Zorie shook her head and smiled, "No I'm fine just super excited!" They both went silent before laughing. "Let the adventure begin!", Shouted Myra.
"So where are we going to first?" Zorie asked curiously.
"We're heading to the Village Of Pora, I heard they have a beautiful waterfall around there." Myra exclaimed. Zorie nodded and the two girls set out on their journey.
Myra looked up at the sky and sighed, "hey Zorie, why are you the only one I get along with?" She asked quietly. Zorie placed a hand on her shoulder and looked at the stars, "because we are like stars. Connected in ways no one understands. I don't know if that made any sense but we don't need anyone else as long as we have each other." Myra smiled before stepping into a rope. She fell and was lifted into the air.
"Ahhh! What the hell is this?!" Myra muttered as she reached for her sword. Looking down she seen her sword lying on the ground. "Well then if it isn't Myra and Zorie." A tall, shadow-like figure came out from behind the bushes. The figure was male, with golden hair and silver eyes. He has a tattoo on his left cheek that says "Dangerous."
The girls eyes widened slightly at the man's voice. Myra froze as she turned towards the figure. "W..Who are you?" She impatiently asks.
"Ask Zorie, I'm sure she can tell you." He replied with an evil smirk appearing across his face. "Zorie..." Myra glances at Zorie as she puts her head down, attempting to hide her tears. "Myra I want you to stay away from him." Zorie yells as she clenches her fist. She grabbed Myra's sword and cut the rope on the tree. Myra fell to the ground and huffed. "Gosh you didn't have to do it that way..", She grabbed her sword and put it back in the case.
