As the bell rang for the 1st class, Jael skipped her way to her class with Ms. Rivera. On the way to her class she thought of Shadloe which she then giggled about. As her thoughts occupied more and more of her tiny little comprehension, she hummed a song. A song that calmed her down, a song that made her smile for no reason. The song had such great rythym she couldn't help, but to exaggerate her body movement. Almost like a fictional charter that was animated to move.
Finally, Jael arrives to her class takes a seat next to a young man. He acted strange around Jael. Placing his leg right next to hers, always trying to talk to her. Jael seemed confused at his actions. So on and so forth. Jael then looked over at him and booped his cheek. Once the boy looked over at her, he began to blush madly. Jael then introduced herself.
"Hello! I-I'm Jessica! Call me J-Jessie, or Jess. Wanna be my friend?" She seemed enthusiastic about her I introduction. The boy swallowed and gave out a soft gasp of air.
"H-Hi, I am.. uhm.. Jesse. And yes I'd l-li-like to be your friend ..." Jael began to smile nonstop and giggles.
"Alrighty then! Nice to meet you Jesse." Jesse nodded and chuckled as they resumed back to work.
Jael smiled like a dork during class, asking questions, finishing work and making new friends. When she was done with her homework, she began to doodle people, animals, herself even. As her pencil moved against the paper, she felt a slight bump on the back for her head. Jael flinched at the bump and stayed still slowly turning around after a few couple seconds. It turned out to be a boy, that was showing off his pencil flicking, he accidently flicked it to the back of her head. Jael blinked 3 times like a cute confused character then picked up the pencil and handed it over to the boy.
"H-Hello.. I-I'm Jessica! C-Call me.. uhm... Jessie or... Jess." Jael looked brightly at him with starry eyes and a bright smile.
"Wanna be my friend?!" she asked enthusiastically. The boy then started to blusuh quite a bit.
"I-I'm Luis. Nice to meet you.." Luis proceeded "I'd love to be your friend!" Jael smiled brightly and giggled. "Yey! New friends all around." Jael nodded and went back to her desk to continue doodling.
A few minutes later, the bell rang for Lunch/Recess. Jael proudly skipped to the lunch room and land began to nibble/chomp her lunch that she got with her ID card. She had sat in the corner of a table by the stage all by herself. No one came to sit with her.
"Awe.. I'm all alone again... naturally ..." Jael's frown grew within milliseconds. Once she was done with her lunch, she put her tray away by the trash bin for the lunch ladies to pick up and wash. Jael then went outside through the big metal doors to the basketball court. Jael looked around helplessly for 2 new friends. Sadly, she couldn't find them so she turned around and sighed walking slowly, dragging feet on the concrete to the benches under a red shaded cloth. As she sadly walks to the red benches a ball starts to fly to the back of her head. In the process of the ball flying to the back of her head, a small girl, with a small floating top hat appeared and knocked the ball out of it's natural course.
"Be careful Kid." The small girl stated as she throws the ball back at the boys. Jael seemed to be in shock as she starts to tremble seeing her shoes step closer and closer to hers.
"U-Uhm, ok.. okeis will."
"Well, aren't you gonna introduce yourself?" Jael seems confused even more as she snaps out of it and nods.
" O-Oh that's right." Jael took a big breathe in and let it out. "H-Hello!" She proceeded " I'm Jessica, but call me Jessie or Jess. Wanna be my friend?" As she spoke the girls looked at her weirdly and slowly backed away. For the girls seemed creeped out she was talking to herself. Jael looked at the girl more and more as she flinches and realizes. "H-Hey, you... look like.. me?" The other girl laughed and giggled as she began to hover 5-7 inches above the floor. Jael seemed startled as she gets even more starry-eyed at her hovering.
" Awe! You are just too adorable! Of course I am you!! I'm just .." the little girl stayed silent, processing her thinking. Out of the blues, the small girl glitches with codes surrounding her. As the codes surround both of them, the girl's right eyes started to glow an emerald green with the other eyes going static, making an eerie noise.
"Who am I?" The girl seemed lost looking at the ground. Those words echoed in her head.
"A-Are you lost?" Jael asked the girl in front of her as she blinks and sees her not react. "H-Hello?" The other girl slowly started to tear up. Jael then panicked a bit as her arms wrapped around the crying girl like a ribbon around a christmas present. The girl who was crying flinched and looked at her with her right eye. The girl then started to cry immensely. As the girl's tears rolled down her face, the codes started to glitch all around the place. Jael held her tightly in her grasp as she reclines her head on her shoulder, scooting her head closer to the girl's ear.
" It's okay, I'm here. I always will be.." Jael slowly marked the words on the back of the girl's mind.
"Is.... that .. a promise ?" The girl's fingernails dug into the clothes and skin of Jael.
" I promise."
