Tomika's POV

"Tomika!" Summer squealed. I stopped what I was doing and looked at her. "Hey Sum." I greeted.

"Freddy and I are having our second monthsiversary tomorrow."

My heart sank.

"Should I give him a red skateboard with a drum set or a green skateboard with a skull?" She asked. "Green with drum set." I answered.

"Cool, thanks." She smiled. "Oh here he comes." She said as he was walking to us. "Hey Tomika. Come on Sum." He took her hand and they walked away giggling.

I leaned against my locker and slumped down. You may not have known but I like Freddy. I just act like I don't like him for Summer.

"What's wrong bass face?" I look up to see Lawrence and Zack. "Nothing." I sighed. "Let me correct you. Something." Zack corrected.

I sighed.

"Okay fine. Something is wrong." I said. "Oh! Tell!" Zack and Lawrence sat either side next to me.

"I like Freddy." I confessed. "WHAT?! THAT'S SO COOL!" Lawrence and Zack said at the same time. "Yeah, well, he's dating Summer." I said.

"Bummer..." Lawrence sighed. "But hey, I think Freddy likes you." Zack said.

"What?!" I jumped up.

I started pacing around and ranting. "Why would he like me! I'm me! I don't wear jewelry like Summer! Or lipstick! I love skateboarding an-"

"And he loves skateboarding to. He likes almost all the stuff you like. And obviously he likes you for you." Lawrence said and I stopped.

"Plus, you still have chances with him. Rumor has it Summer is two timing him with Asher." Zack whispered. I nodded and ran away from the two weirdo's.

I walk to the classroom to see Freddy on his desk. "Where's Summer?" I asked curious. Freddy sighed. "She just left for a student council meeting." He explained.

"Oh. Mind if I accompany you?" I ask, he shook his head and gestured to the desk next to him. I sat down and smiled.

"So how's your relationship?" I ask wanting to talk about something. "Oh, it's good." He said. "That's ni-" He cut me off.

"But sometimes when we have dates in public places Asher would just come in and take her away to an 'urgent student council meeting'." He quoted.

"Sometimes..." He sighed. "I get the feeling she's two timing me with Asher." Poor guy.

"Well, the school has rumors she is two timing you." I regret it. He looked at me with a heartbroken face. "But they're rumors! They aren't confirmed." I tried cheering him up.

He smiled a sad one. "Thanks for trying to cheer me up Tomika." He said. I smiled.

Suddenly we started leaning in and... "I think I love you..." He admitted as our noses touched. "I think so too..." I said and we kissed.

"Fake..." I heard a girl mutter. And I think Freddy did to because he pulled away first, we looked at where the voice came from and gasped.

Summer was leaning against the wall next to the door, arms crossed with a straight face. "Whatever. Go ahead kiss him. See if I care." She said sarcastically.

We were frozen. "What? Just because Rumors said I cheat on you, you cheat on me? Whatever. Go ahead kiss her. Isn't that what you want?" We couldn't move.

"Oh. Did I forget something... I mean tell each other you think you love him or her then kiss." Summer rolled her eyes. She unfolded her arms and put them on her hips.

"What need some privacy. Okay, I see you don't like cheating on your girlfriend while she's watching." Summer walked out the classroom.

"Summer wait!" Freddy finally said and jumped off his desk as he ran after her...

What did I just do? I kissed my best friend's boyfriend and spoiled their relationship... I am a fake. A fake friend.
