Rebecca Harris POV
He kept looking at me.
"Is there something on my face?" I turn to my best friend who's sat beside me, facing the front of the class.
"No why?"
"No reason" Her eyes then set where mine had previously been.
"Oh my god, he's looking at you again"
"Ella seriously, he's probably not even looking at me"
"Yes he is, and you know it" She began to laugh as she noticed me blushing.
"I literally hate you"
"No you don't, so stop lying", the smirk on her face growing.
"Miss Harris, Miss White is there something you'd like to share with the whole class?"
"I was just saying that If you need to cube it, the answer would be 118 not 106" I knew i shouldn't of tried to be smart and I was most likely going to get detention but I really didn't care at this moment in time.
"Are you questioning my judgment Miss Harris?"
"Yes Miss"
"Well lets see if you're right then" Her back turned to the calculation on the board and revealed that I was right.
"It appears that you're right Miss Harris, I do apologize" A smirk began to tug on my lips.
"You're such a smart arse Rebecca" she managed to say through her laughter.
"I know"
"Wow big headed much?"
"Shut up man" With that we both turned to the front of the class and continued to write down the rest of our notes.
*****************
"I swear to God why do I even tell you anything Ella?"
"Because I'm your best friend and you love me"
"Well unless you stop laughing and making it obvious that he's stood just over there, I won't"
Hunter Whittle was the popular boy of the school. He stood at about 6'2, he had dusty brown hair and his eyes were hazel. He wasn't the kind of popular that went around and bullied people, he's the kind of popular who keeps himself to himself and protects his friends. His best friend was Ashton Harries. Ashton was 6'1, his hair was a deep brown and his eyes were an intense green. They were stood about five people ahead of us in Mc'Donalds.
"But anyway Ella, look who he's with"
"I will literally chop your head off right here, right now"
"Ahaha, you cant reach my head pal"
"That isnt even funny"
"Yes it is Ella"
"Shut up and move forward"
"Okay, okay"
The small blonde headed woman took mine and Ella's order, we took our tray's and went to find a seat. The only place where two seats were available were situated right next to Hunter and Ashton.
"Why don't we just wait for someone to finish" I suggested.
"Uhm why?"
"You know exactly why"
Someone calling my name resulted in me turning my head to face Hunter and Ashton. To my surprise it was them calling us over to sit with them. Ella and I awkwardly shuffled towards them and took our seats, Ella sitting next to Ashton and I sitting beside Hunter.
Could this be any more awkward? I was sitting next to the boy I liked, eating a Mc'Donalds, not the best situation to be in. We engaged in conversation with each other from time to time, but for the most part conversation remained separate between Ella and I and the two boys.
"Ready to go?" I asked Ella.
"Yeah lets go"
"I'll see you later Rebecca" Hunter said with a polite smile.
"Bye guys"
"Bye Ella, bye Rebecca" I heard Ashton say. I turned and smiled before walking out as quickly as possible without making them suspicious.
"Could that of been more awkward?" Ella just looked at me and began to laugh. We continued to walk down the street, they were rather quiet with it being a Monday dinner time. As we got closer to school the streets began to come alive. Everyone from year 10 and 11 were allowed out for dinner. Most people took the opportunity but when the weather began to get worse more people stayed at school.
"Wait, we have Physics then Biology next"
"Can you just kill me now please? I don't want to have to sit behind him man"
"It's not like you're sitting next to him now is it?"
"I guess not"
****************
"Hunter this is the last time I will tell you quiet down, If I hear you talking again I will move you" Our science teacher was such a bitch. I'm not defending him, she's just an annoying little bitch. He dropped his pen on the floor and couldn't reach it.
"Ashton?"
"Yeah"
"Can you pass me my pen?"
"Hunter Whittle I have just asked you to stop talking, go sit next to Rebecca please"
"Miss I droped my pen and I couldn't reach it, I was only asking him if he could get it for me"
"That is the last I will hear from you now go and sit next to Rebecca please" I glanced to my right to see Ella laughing under her breath. I'm going to kill her when this lesson finishes.
"Uhm hey" Hunter voice was low and raspy.
"Hey"

Hunter Whittle POV
"Ashton?"
"Yeah"
"Can you pass me my pen?"
Hunter Whittle I have just asked you to stop talking, go sit next to Rebecca please"
"Miss I droped my pen and I couldn't reach it, I was only asking him if he could get it for me"
"That is the last I will hear from you now go and sit next to Rebecca please"
I took my seat next to Rebecca.
"Uhm hey" I sounded so awkward.
"Hey" Her voice was light and soft. She was about 5'8, she had long chestnut brown hair and greeny blue eyes. She wasn't particularly popular but she was kind and honest, a lot nicer than all the popular girls that I'm supposed to like because of who I am. I've liked her since the beginning of year 7 but I haven't dared to tell anyone apart from Ashton.

"I bet you enjoyed that lesson" Ashton had a smirk on his face until my fist made contact with his gut.
"And I bet you enjoyed that"
"Okay, okay no jokes about Rebecca, got it"
"See Ashton, you say this everyday, the about an hour later you do it again" I shook my head and laughed at the boy that was my best friend.
"Everybody take your assigned seats please" Miss Rotherham said motioning towards the board. Of course, I'm sat next to Rebecca for twelve weeks. Kill. Me. Now.
