After a few bathroom breaks and food stops later we made it to Lucas pack house. It was early in the morning and I could tell Luca was exhausted and hungry. Destiny was busy exploring with Luca and the guys so me, Anna and Amanda decided to cook since we had mostly slept the entire way.
The house was beautiful. It was made out of real wood, it looked like a three story little cabin. Only the higher ranked wolf's stay in this house and now their mates. So it would only be Me and Luca, Amanda and Allen, Anna and Alexander and lastly my little munchkin.
The kitchen was huge. It had a industrial size stove and oven in it and beautiful wooden cabinets and island in the middle. The sink sat in the middle of the island.
My nose picked up on something and it smelt weird.
I looked at my two friends and just above Anna's neck was a small tattoo, but I knew it was a mark.
"In the car? Really Anna-banana?" I giggle at her now red face.
"Shut up Avery!" She mumbles holding back a smile.
"Amanda!" I sang to my bestfriend who looked a little sad.
"Yes V." She looks up thoughtfully.
"Whats wrong?"
"Just miss my mom and dad." She whispers.
"Me too Manda. I just want to talk to them for a few minutes."
"I wish I knew who my parents were." Anna mumbles.
"I hate this! When we were younger we were told our dad's were going to walk us down the alise and our mom's would be in the front roll crying." Amanda said with a tear coming out of her eye.
"I shouldn't have left I should have stayed to fight with my family." I say as a tear slips down my face.
"My mother and father should have never tried to protect me! It's all my fault." Anna sobbed.
We all walked to the living room crying and curled up on the couch together.
"You remember when we ran iif to build a tree house?" I ask the girls.
"We were in our twenties and tried to build a treehouse!" Anna laughed.
"Damn nail went straight threw my foot." Amanda grumpled.
"I pulled it out and you wouldn't talk to me for a week!" I laugh.
"Cause you hurt me."
After a few minutes of silence Anna spoke up.
"When was the last time you visited your parents graves?"
"When they were burried." We answer together.
"I don't even remember ever going to there graves." Anna admitted.
"Do you think they would be proud of us?" She ask quietly.
"I hope so."
"Me too." Amanda muttered. We all had tears streaming down our faces when the guys and Destiny came back in.
"Whats wrong?" They all ask.
"Nothing." We reply quickly.
Luca and the other guys get a knowing look on their faces but i brush it off.
Destiny walks over to me and looks sad.
"Mama you have a bad dream gain?" She ask quietly.
"No baby Mama is happy, see!" I grin really big at her.
"You no happy mama. You sad."
"Mommys not sad baby girl. What do you want to eat?" I ask her whipping my face.
"Anything mommy!" She giggles.
"Even if it's spinach with tamato juice?" I tease.
"No mommy dats nasty." She said seriously.
"Okay how about hamburgers and chips?"
"Mmmm yes mommy dats good. You make some for Lu too?" She ask.
"Yeah I think I can." I laugh.
"What bout Al and Xander? Mandy and Anna too mama?" She ask with big hopeful eyes.
"Only if you help." I chuckle.
"Okay wets go mama!" She jumps causing everyone to laugh at her.
I get up and follow her in the kitchen with Luca following behind us.
I take out the hamburger and a few spices and the bacon.
We wash our hands and start rolling out the pattys with Luca watching us with a look of admiration in his eyes.
"Would you mind if our parents come over?" Luca ask.
"No. I'll make extras. Wait they do eat meat right?" I ask nervously.
"Of course babe. They are wolfs." He grins. I laugh at my mate and continue rolling pattys.
Once we have almost 50 pattys rolled I put them in the oven.
"I've never seen anyone do that!" Luca looks shocked.
"It just takes extra grease out of them, its alot healthier." I tell him.
"But your frying the bacon right?" He looks at me weirdly.
"Yeah. There's no better way to cook it is there?"
"You are normal! Thank you Moon Goddess!" He sighs dramatically.
"I'm starting to worry about you." I giggle. I check the pattys to see they are almost done.
"What time will your guys parents be here?" I ask Luca.
"12 o'clock. So about a hour." He answers.
"AMANDA! ANNA!" I yell Luca looks at me weirdly.
"I need them to do something for me." I tell him.
In walks Amanda and Anna.
"You called my highness!" Amanda mocks grinning.
"Yes dear afraid so." I chuckle.
"How much do you two love me?" I ask them.
"Depends on what you want." Ann's narrowed her eyes on me.
"Jez I just wanted to know if you loved me." I say acting hurt. That causes both of them to give me 'the' look.
"I need help either making the Mac and cheese or giving Destiny a bath." I add grinning.
"Come on Destiny lets go get a bath!" Amanda grins at her.
"I'll get the towels!" Anna adds quickly.
"You are going to have to learn sooner or later loves!" I call to their retreating figures.
"Later preferably!" Amanda shouts back.
"What was that all about?" Luca ask.
"They don't know how to cook." I laugh.
"Amanda caught the stove on fire last time she tried. We couldn't even walk through the door from the smoke when Anna tried to make homemade salsa." I explain further.
Luca starts laughing loudly.
"Mates of two wolf's dont know how to cook!" He gasp after his laughing fit.
I put the water on for the Mac and cheese and add the cheese slices on top of the pattys in the oven.
Once the water starts to boil I add the pasta. I start cutting tamatos, lettuce and onions when Luca wraps his arms around my waist.
"Whats wrong love?"
"I don't know. I feel emotional today. I'm sorry I'm not trying to ignore you Luca." I tell him honestly.
"Hey. Hey. Hey. You haven't been ignoring me baby. It's okay really." He said kissing my neck.
"I dont know what's going on with me!" I mutter.
Luca stays silent. Still holding me as I finish cutting the lettuce.
The oven dinged telling me the pattys were done.
"I'll get it baby." He says softly. I whirl around and kiss his lips. He was shocked but started kissing me back. After a few minutes we broke apart. He grinned at me and I smiled.
"I think I feel better." I add.
"So you were using my lips to make you feel better. I'm hurt." He says smirking.
"Get the pattys Luca!" I chuckle.
I start draining the pasta and add a block of cheese and let it melt slowly adding milk. Once the cheese melted I take it out and put it in a pan and add breadcrumbs on the top and put it in the oven.
I clean the dishes I've used and put them in the rack to dry.
Luca was standing beside me so I wrap my arms around his waist and put my head on his chest and just stand there as he rubs my back.
'I want to see mate!' Mia begged.
'Later okay? I'll ask if he wantsbto go for a run?'
'Okay!' Mia purrs.
"Luca can we go for a run later?" I ask him.
"Of course but we have to stay close by." He answers.
I nod and Mia is jumping around in happiness.
Once the Mac and cheese were done I take them out to let them cool down.
"I want to take a shower." I tell Luca.
"Come on I'll show you where our room is."
I let go of him and he grabs my hand and starts walking with me trailing behind.
We walk up a set of stairs on the first floor.
"This whole floor is ours. The second floor is Allen's and Amandas and the third is Alexanders and Anna's. My office is over there." He points toward a door.
"That is a room I've made Destinys play room." He pointed at another door.
"And this is the door that leads into her nursery." He points at another.
"And this is our bedroom." He says opening a door.
The room is beautiful. It has three baby blue walls and then one wall is grey. A big king size bed is in the middle of the room it has a wolf bedspread in it, with two night stands with lamps on both sides. Mounted on the wall infront of the bed is a large flat screen tenvision with large DVD case underneath it.
"In here's the bathroom baby." Luca cut my admiring off.
"Your clothes and bags are right there, tomorrow we'll put them up." He says pointing to the side of the bathroom door.
"Thank you Luca!" I say softly.
"I'd do anything for you Avery."
