'And the amount of algae in any particular area is dependent directly on a few set factors. This means that...'

They were watching a documentary about pond life. It was something that Namjoon had wanted to watch for a while, but the members had always flat out refused to watch it with him; until, that is, he bought them food. They grudgingly agreed to watch it because food was of course more important than entertainment. Now Yoongi was dozing off against Jimin's shoulder whilst Jimin 'discreetly' played some kind of puzzle game on his phone. Hobi and Taehyung however had given up on discretion entirely and had resumed their sophisticated 'game' of running around the dorms making unnecessary noise and doing God knows what aside from bothering their hyungs. Taehyung had tried to pull Jungkook up with him but one glance at Namjoon's rolling eyes kept Jungkook right there in his seat.

'You do realise that this is the most boring documentary ever made, right Kookie?' whined Taehyung.

Jungkook shrugged.

'Pleeease Kookie'

'Just go with Hobi-hyung'

'Whyyyy?' Taehyung persisted.

'Because I'm watching the documentary hyung'

'No you're not, you're just sucking up to Namjoon-hyung' he grumbled.

'No, I'm watching the documentary'

'Sure you are.' Taehyung rolled his eyes. When Jungkook ignored him, simply turning back to the screen, Taehyung picked up a pillow and threw it at him, quickly turning and running away before his boyfriend could retaliate.

Now, despite his earlier insistence, Jungkook was staring blankly at the screen, his eyes glassy and unseeing, listening vaguely to the shouts and thuds coming from his hyungs as they ran through the living room and into the kitchen behind him.

The only person still watching (aside from Namjoon himself) was, of course, his boyfriend, Jin. Jin had no real interest in pond skaters and midges of course, and he certainly didn't care about pond-weed and algae, however he did care about Namjoon. He cared about Namjoon enough to outweigh how much he didn't care about ponds (which was a lot). So now, due to his care for Kim Namjoon, Seokjin was spending his Saturday afternoon watching a documentary about ponds.

'And as swans are monogamous animals, this pair will likely spend their entire lives together.'

'Ah that's cute' Jin murmured, leaning against Namjoon's arm and sliding down far enough to put his head on his boyfriend's shoulder.

'Not as cute as you Princess' came Namjoon's smooth yet cheesy reply.

'Ah well of course; nothing's as cute as me Joonie.'

Namjoon rolled his eyes at his egotistical boyfriend fondly, with a small smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.

'The swan is elegantly beautiful, but vain, and will spend many hours preening, to maintain it's...'

'Hey listen; it must be Jin-hyung!' Jungkook piped up suddenly, causing Jin to react in an overly dramatic manner of course and reach over Namjoon to hit the maknae on the head whilst Jimin watched on, giggling into Yoongi's hair.

'At least I'm not a coconut JK' Jin bit back.

'I'M NOT A COCONUT!'

Jimin giggled as Jin laughed his windshield wiper laugh and Jungkook pouted.
'It's okay Jungkook-ah, you're a cute coconut' Jimin said with a cute eye smile.

The others all continued laughing, however Namjoon had been oblivious to it all. He was sat staring at the screen, taking nothing in but clearly thinking hard. Jin noticed his boyfriend's sudden change in demeanour, but assumed it was due to the loud distraction caused by him and Jungkook.
'You okay Joonie?' He whispered softly.
'Hm? Oh, uh, yeah. I'm good.'
Jin wasn't entirely convinced, but decided to let it go until they were at least out of earshot of the maknaes.
