The chapters are going to be really short. They're prompts, they are not meant to be lengthy. If you don't like the length of the chapters, then you can vote for this one and I'll try to make the following ones lengthier. You don't have to vote, but, you know, it's highly appreciated and encouraged.

Happy reading!

Harry waited on one knee, holding the silver band in the box in his hands. There was a crowd of people watching the gesture. He watched as Louis's expression changed from a look of fondness to a look of confusion in a matter of seconds. All the thoughts that Harry had about Louis rejecting him came back into his mind and Louis hadn't even said anything.

"No!" Louis blurted out. Louis shut his eyes tight and ran a hand over his face. Louis reached into his pant pocket and wrapped his hand around the box.

Harry's expression changed. It fell. "You won't marry me?"

Louis waved his hands in the air as if to contradict Harry's question. "No, it's not that, Harry. It's just...-" Louis sighed. "-why don't you get off your knees and sit." Louis helped Harry up. Harry sat at the table they had been seated at an hour and a half earlier. The people watching returned back to their meals. Louis sat across from Harry and took both of his hands. Harry was looking at the ring that he had placed on the table. "Harry, look at me." Harry looked at him. His eyes weren't as green as they normally were. "I want to marry you, Harry. I just-"

"Do you really want to marry me? Because you said no pretty damn quickly." Harry said sternly. Harry pulled his hands out of Louis's hold and placed them in his lap. His eyes moved away from his face.

Louis sighed. "Would you just fucking listen to me?" Harry looked at him, but with stern eyes. "As I was saying, I do want to marry you but-" Louis was interrupted by a busboy taking their empty dishes off of their table. Harry rolled his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest, Once the busboy was gone, Louis continued. "-but I was planning on proposing. Tonight, Just like you did." Louis smiled.

Harry looked shocked, Then he began to laugh, "Are you serious?" Louis nodded, starting to laugh as well. Restaurant goers began to look over at them once again. "This is unbelievable. No offense, but I never took you as the guy who would get down on one knee and pop the question."

Louis shook his head, a smile on his face. "To be honest with you, Harry, I never thought I was." Louis took Harry's hands. "But then I met you. You've changed parts of me that I never liked before. I guess I realized that you were worth my dress pants getting dirty."

They laughed.

"Well, get on with it, then," Harry said.

"Get on with what?" Louis asked, Harry gave him that you know what look. "Oh, right, right. Uh-" Louis stood up from the table and got down on one knee beside Harry. He took the box out of his pocket and inhaled. "-Harry, would you like to marry me? You can say no, that's perfectly fine, but you know, I'd love it if you said yes."

Harry laughed. It was one of those laughs where you threw your head back. Harry nodded. "Yes, I'll marry you, you dope." They both smiled from ear to ear and Harry watched as Louis slid the exact same ring that Harry had gotten on his finger.

"And you thought I was going to say no," Louis whispered to Harry before they pressed their lips together.

"Well, to be fair, you did say no."

Louis laughed. "You ruined the moment.'

All Harry could do was smile and laugh.
