Dimitri p.o.v.

10 minutes before the ball

I'm nervous. So nervous. Kirova came to me and told me the program. First each girl will be called, they come trough the doors and walk down the stairs. After that I will take their hand an kiss it and I walk her to her surprise. The surprise. It was my idea to invite an important person of the girls like best friend, brother/sister or another relative. I looked up when someone came in the ballroom. It was Christian. "Dimitri all the important guest are here the Queen asked me to collect you so you can welcome them". Together we walked to the entrance hall. I talked to each of the guest and they told me how beautiful the palace was and how they looked forward to the ball. One of the guest took me apart and told me or actually threaten me. He said: If you hurt her I will find you It doesn't matter if you are a king I will find you and make sure you will never be able  hurt someone again. I had no idea who he was but I will find out soon I guess. Kirova came in again and explained to everyone what they have to do. When I take the girls hand they will step forward. Also Kirova told me that after the last girl was called I will dance the first dance. She wanted to know with who but I told her that it is a surprise.

Only one princess was left Rose. I am nervous. Will she say yes. I also wander who the boy is who threaten me. Of coarse he belongs with Rose, but who was he. A friend, a relative or...  I stopped  immediately when I heard: "Princess Rosemarie Hathaway Mazur of Turkey. I looked at her she was breathtaking. My heart raced in my chest. I was stunned. She walked down to me and I took her hand and kissed it. Now I thought ask her now. "Princess" she glared at me, I forgot she hate that title "I mean Rose please I want to ask do you want to dance the first dance with me". Wow Dimitri nice job ,note sarcasm. She looked at me with surprise and said: "Yes" yes she said yes I start smiling she continued speaking: "but first I want to know what that surprise is everyone is talking about".  I chuckled and motioned to the boy to came closer before I could say something else the boy placed his hands before her eyes. He start smiling and said: "Guess who" Rose turned around immediately and squealed. She gave him a big hug and he spin her around. Then they started laughing I felt a little bit jealous who is this guy. Rose turned to me and gave me a hug and said thank you. I don't know why she thanked me but before I could ask the boy gave a small cough. "Rosie why don't you introduce us" Rosie seriously. "Mase this is crown prince Dimitri, Dimitri this is Mason or should I say prince Mason , my older twin brother
