Chapter 15 - Pathetic tries

"Charlie, you can come to rehearsals." Ronan informs me and I nod. We all leave the hotel to a smallish building opposite where Jai started rehearsing in front of a huge mirror with 2 back up dancers.

"Jai you did great! You're so going to own that performance." I laugh.

"Thanks bebs." He smiles. "Oh yeah." He remembers. "This is Liv and Georgia." Jai points at each of the back up dancers introducing me.

"Hi." I politely smile.

"And this is Charlie." Jai says directing to me.

"Hey." They smile back. They seem really nice.

"You guys did really good." I say trying to make conversation.

"Thanks." They laugh.

"So do you all wanna go hang out at my hotel room?" Jai suggests.

"Yep." We all say in an agreement.

"Ok." He says and we all start walking away.

I feel a rush of wind blow through my ear causing me to jump and fall off the bed. I look up to see Jai in a fit of laughter.

"Jai! You scared me to death! Don't do that again!" I half laughed but tried to keep a straight face.

"Awwwww." He laughs again before planting a small kiss on my lips getting an 'awe' from both Georgia and Liv.

"You guys are so cute!" Liv exclaims making me blush slightly.

"Meh, well I'm cute, I don't know about Jai..." I joke and Jai gives me a faked-hurt look.

"Awwwww." I repeat his 'aw' from earlier then plant a kiss on his lips just like he had done to me.

"Even cuter!" Georgia squeals.

"Photo op!" Liv says before pulling our her phone and taking a photo of all of us together and posts it on instagram. Jai reposts it and so do I.

Soon after that I hear my phone ringing and reach to my bag to get it.

"Hello?" I ask the unknown number.

"Hey, it's Trisha." I heard the voice of what I thought was my best friend but for some reason decided to be mad at me? I dunno. I guess she still is my best friend.

"Hey, why were you so angry at me the other night?" I ask.

"Um, never mind that, I guess I was just in a bad mood." She chirps.

That's weird.

"Oh uh, ok, so why'd you call?" I ask again.

"Yeah I just saw that pic of you with that Jai Waetford with some other people." She explains. Where is she going with this.

"Yeaahhhh..." I urge her to continue.

"Well, he's so like becoming famous now aye!" She says.

"Um, yeah I guess, so why'd you call?" I ask repeating the same question as before because I didn't really get an answer.

"I never thought he would become that big! Like he didn't look that good and all but he's getting so many instagram followers and everything." She says.

Did she just say that? About Jai? About my boyfriend. I didn't reply, just sat there in shock of what she just said.

"Soooo, I would totally like to hang out with him and maybe get a few pics?" She asks.

"Oh, I think he's busy. Sorry. Bye." I said and hung up, receiving strange looks from the 3 people around me.

"Who was that?" Jai asks.

"Trisha." I say and he nods.

"What did she want?" He asks again.

"She wanted to meet up with you." I say but making it sound more like a question.

"Ha!" Jai starts laughing. "I thought she hated me." He says.

"She did, until you became more noticed." I said breaking eye contact with him.

"So she only wants to meet with me because I'm betting 'fans?'" He asks.

"Yep." I say.

"And that's why you said no." He smiles and I nod. "Thanks." He says and kisses me.

"Welcome." I say in reply.
