Monochrome Princess- POV

Glaring at my reflection it cheekily sticks its tongue out before fading back into a sad monochrome girl. With the same straight across fringe she's had since primary school and pale milky skin.

There is nothing interesting to me the irony is that even my eyes match my monochrome theme. Bleak grey eyes my mum had the same grey eyes but hers were dazzling and doll like with flirty lashes mine however lack that.

My older sister is much more colourful, with my dads bright ginger hair and gorgeous skin with freckles. Generally making for an ugly child, but growing up she was always so perfect how. She rolls out of bed like a vogue model, then when she gets ready she puts all models to shame.

She's perfect in every way, flawless skin perfect elfish features a cute button nose. Her hair is perfect and always shines and flows. Honestly she puts Bella Thorne to shame. Her eyes are my dads vivid blue she's girly, friendly, outgoing.

The only flaw is she can empty your bank account in two minutes, she is pretty smart well slightly above average not so much to be considered intelligent but just enough to be smart. She has the knowledge she just doesn't apply it.

Anyway staring back in the mirror, perfect. I'm wearing a black and white dress like Wednesday Adams, with black tights and patent leather black shoes with a small heel and a silver buckle.

Grabbing my black and white galaxy backpack even my note books are grey or black covered. No I'm not goth before you ask I don't always listen to heavy metal except to drown out my sister rambling on about her boyfriend Justin cheated again.

Going downstairs, my father smiles and I manage a slight up turn in my lips. I don't do smiling too much effort if you ask me.

"How are we today baby girl?" Scowling at his childish nickname.

Sarcastically rolling my eyes, I'm your typical teenager. Well I'm hormonal, more than slightly depressed, morbid and of course into being isolated from the world. I prefer watching from a distance. Just a simple passer by in life.

Grabbing some toast and putting chocolate spread on, doesn't taste nice. Oh yeah perhaps shouldn't have brushed my teeth before, well I'll brush them after my dentist will be pleased.

Once I'm done I go back upstairs and brush my teeth, before rushing back downstairs swapping my heels for sneakers and grabbing my bike. Riding to school, not so effortlessly my hair gets stuck in my lip gloss nothing like in the movies.

Getting to hell. I hate school. Hate with a passion, its worse than a prison at least at a prison you can come and go as you please. Imagine if there was a zombie apocalypse like right now, well I'd kill that bitch over there and that one and be like she was bitten.

If you're guessing I'm the unsociable introvert, the only time I speak is if it is relevant or I want of spite someone. Anyway according to the schools guidance counsellor I'm missing a crucial part that makes me a teenager.

Don't give a fuck. If I listened to them I'd be like Kayla Sinclair the schools happy go lucky perfect girl, who's had more sex and boyfriends than I've breathed. She leaves me alone cause I walked into the girls toilets and she was shagging her cousin. Incest.

I agreed to keep it secret, saying spreading drama wasn't my thing. However, black mail is. Get it. Blackmail. Cause I'm monochrome princess.

I've been called it since middle school in case you're confused I use to live in England. I went to a private boarding school, it was like Hogwarts except no magic and familiars. I want a Hedwig! Anyway my dad decided to move to america in Seattle. Home of christian grey. He can spank me any time. Anyway I wonder how many shades of grey I can name.

Dim grey.

Silver.

Slate grey.

Charcoal.

Onyx grey.

Graphite.

Platinum.

Okay I get the idea the bell rings and in I go to hell. No return maybe I could escape. Going over to my locker, even my locker is grey everyone else's are happy colours. Gosh it hurts my eyes. Opening my locker, typical a note saying monochrome princess.

Pretty handwriting.
