Chapter five

Maka's pov
I then woke up in my room, seeing Soul by my side sleeping. I then realized that I had bandages on my stomach and a bandage on my cheek. I saw Soul waking up and looking at me with a sad expression on his face. He then smiled at me to make me happy but I knew that Soul wasn't happy about something.
I then sat up and then I kissed Soul by surprised. He then looked at me like he was happy and sad like he was a while ago. I then saw that my clothes weren't the same as I remembered. I then blushed as I thought that Soul changed me. I then felt a sharp pain which made me yelp.
Soul then lay me back down to make me comfortable and then kissed my forehead and went out of the room. I then felt sad that Soul didn't really care for me and he didn't really pay attention to me like he always does. I then fell asleep and I had this weird dream.
Maka's dream
I was walking in the rain with only a jacket some pants and a t-shirt on. I then saw Soul sitting down on a bench talking to Kid and I heard a little of what they said. They were talking about me and something else but then I saw Soul attacking Kid and then when Kid tried to attack Soul, he accidentally hurt me instead and I then saw blood from my stomach and then coughed up blood. I then saw Soul running towards me and then Kid running towards me like he was trying to help. I then fell on my knees and then collapsed. I then saw Soul picking me up and running to see if anyone can help me. I then closed my eyes and saw a light smoking towards me. A hand reached out and I took the hand and I saw me being carried by Soul crying but I was going up to the sky away from my body. I then realized that I was dying and soon I would be dead. I then saw Soul shouting at Kid and it looked like he was about to kill him but then I saw stein coming towards us. He then grabbed me but he knew that I died when he looked at me and saw that I was paler than usual. He looked at Soul and Kid and gave them the look. Soul then fell to his knees and started to cry.
End of dream
I then woke up to sweat covering me and the pillow. I then saw that it was daytime so I got up and went to the Kitchen when I saw Soul talking with Stein. They were talking about what would happen to me and they talked about something that was wrong with my body and that I was probably will not be able to hold Soul since the guy that took me put something in my blood stream when he sliced me on my stomach.
I then looked at the bandage on my stomach. I then felt my stomach hurt again but I couldn't yell or they would question me of what I heard. I then went to the bathroom and uncovered my bandages around me and I saw a scar across my stomach.
I then coughed in my hand and saw blood. I then started to feel worried that I'm dying slowly on the inside. My eyes then started to tear up when I figured out what's happening. I then peeked around the corner to see if Stein and Soul was there and I saw that it was empty, so I went to the fridge to get a snack when Soul came up and startled me so I jumped a little.
"Sorry Maka that I scared you." "It's ok Soul I just need a snack." I said while looking at him. I then felt a bad pain like before. Soul then caught me when I couldn't stand from the extreme pain. I then felt dizzy and blood came through the bandages and my white shirt had blood on it.
My eyes then became heavy, I then saw blackness when I heard a faint voice calling my name. I then felt pain on my stomach like someone was cutting my stomach again and again over the same cut. I then woke up to my room seeing Stein and Soul talking and also Kid was there standing looking at me with sad eyes.
