Alpha Babies (book two)

Chapter Four

i went down to the kitchen to find my brother still sitting at the counter.

"hey Seanie whatcha doing?"

"just looking at Facebook, you're back awfully soon i guess they were actually doing some work up there."

"oh no not even close fucking Damien was sleeping and the other two idiots where fucking around as well. i set them to work and now I'm making lunch for everyone. you want some too?"

"well that depends what are you making?" he laughed

"i don't know i haven't decided yet...i know I'm making Damien some of his special cookies but thats it."

"okay see this is what i mean about you babying him the kid was sleeping on the job and yet you're still making him cookies."

"yea well thats how things work around here he makes me crazy and i might actually murder him one day but he's still my best friend so he gets his special cookies even when he is being a complete moron." i said as i gathered ingredients i quickly threw together some cookie dough and tossed them in the oven. " okay so any ideas on what i should make for lunch"

"how about you just make some burgers?"

"sounds like a good plan to me bacon cheese burgers and fries." i quickly set to work by the time i had gotten everything set and on the stove the timer went off for the cookies i quickly pulled them out and set them on the racks to cool going back to the stove to check on the food.

"so im gonna have to start putting together a nursery soon...do you think you would be willing to help me build some baby furniture? i only have like 6 months left to get everything together humans are so lucky they get so much extra time i know its only three months but it is way more time than it seems."

"of course ill help you but don't you think this is something Sebastian is going to want to be involved in as well?"

"well of course he will but he has alpha duties he won't be able to be around all the time so that is when you my loving brother are going to have to step in and assist your favorite baby sister."

"who said you were my favorite?" he laughed

"i just did dint ya hear me." i said smiling

"mhm don't let the other two hear you saying that you might have a revolution on your hands."

"meh they know I'm the favorite always have been always will be."

"no comment...how are those burgers coming Vic."

"almost done you wanna get some buns out of the pantry please,and some plates too."

"of course."

when sean brought everything over i turned the burners off and put everyones plates together i set seats in front of him on the counter and put the rest of the plates on a tray along with a big plate of cookies and some milk and brought it up stairs. when i walked into the office the boys were still hard at work i came in and put the tray on the desk setting a plate and glass in front of each of the boys and grabbing mine left the cookies in the middle and went to sit with Sebastian. everyone quickly settler work aside and started eating.

"so how did it go with the patrol assignments and everything."

"we have it all taken care of. the meeting is set for 10:00 AM tomorrow i have the conference room down stairs being set up as we speak." Sebastian reassured me.

"excellent hopefully we can get this all sorted out as quickly as possible. i know the packs aren't fully in synch with each other since the merger but we need to make sure that if this comes to a fight we can count on everyone to work together to protect the pack as a whole. how has training been going?" i asked Kris.
