Fear was floating in the air. The elderly woman was getting out her sharp, smooth and shiny knife. The clock was ticking fast, but the man's heart was beating faster. Each second the woman took a step towards him and all of a sudden she's gone! Crystal clear, nothing there. When suddenly the man caught a glimpse of the woman's shadow by the corner of his eye. He panicked. His whole body was shivering of fear. He was left there clueless. So he ran for his life faster than a cheater and jumped into his car. He looked back and the woman was gone. He was scared because the next thing you know she is probably sitting in the back seat. The sky slowly changed from cloudy blue to black starlight sky. There were no lights on the road, nothing but plain empty darkness. The winds started talking to each other and the trees joined in. The man began to drive hoping to survive. There was a quiet chuckle in the background and all of a sudden there was a loud scary scream! ARRRRGGGGHHHHH! CRASH! "What was that?" He wondered. He didn't know whether or not if it was a good idea to get out of the car to see what happened. Scared. Lonely. Petrified. He shivered as he got out of the car and there she was. Lying in front of him was the dead body of the old woman. Blood everywhere from his car dripping down on the lady's head. Scars all over her face and arm and his sweater was lying on top of her. His entire body was shivering from head to toe and his face turned pale like plain white paper.

There was that sound again. A quiet chuckle. He looked around to see who else was here but he could see nothing but the darkness awaiting to get him. The chuckle got louder by the minute and there was a continuous laughter going. " Who... Who are you?" He hesitated.
"You think you have killed me? The old woman laughs, " you may have killed my body but not my spirit!" The laughter grew louder and louder each second.
" Leave me alone!" He screamed angrily. At that moment of time the sky got angry and there was a clap of thunder and a flash of lightening.
"NEVER!" She screamed back angrily, " you have killed me so I will haunt you with my spirit every second, every minute, every hour and everyday of you terrible life even if it takes me to your disgusting grave!"
He heard a sound. A familiar sound. A sound that seems to be coming from his car! The engine! The sky became cloudy and the it started raining. Sooner or later there was going to be a river of rain. A flash of lightening and a roar of thunder and his car started moving. Not slowly not fast but VERY fast! He didn't get it. There is no one in the car so how does it seem to be moving? Was his mind playing tricks? He ran backwards but tripped. There was a tree behind him. The tree's were moving! First whispering and now moving! The sound of the laughter became extremely loud and the woman shouted, " say goodbye!" CRASH!...
He opened his eyes, his body's as covered in red blood and his clothes was half torn. He looked around. He was stuck. Stuck underground. Cobwebs and dust everywhere. Was it all a dream? I survived or am I a ghost? He heard the sound of laughter again. He got out of his brave in his ghostly form and saw that he was buried next to the old woman. The woman that's going to haunt him even if it takes her to his grave.
