Ok, if your wondering why I keep uploading it's because I'm writing this as we speak! It's due on Tuesday so I'm rushing to get it done! It's meant to be a shortish story.

James P.O.V.
I wake up to find myself in A&E. It all comes flooding back to me, the river, the cut, the girl. Jace is sitting next to me with a worried expression on his face. When he sees me looking, he smiles.
“You had me worried there for a bit mate. I thought you were a goner.”
“I’m not going anywhere mate.”
“You’re lucky. Someone ripped your chinos and made a bandage to suppress the bleeding. Then a Cambridge boat found you. Apparently you were just lying there with this red converse next to you.” Jace explains. He also hands me the red converse. This is the only thing I have left to remind me of the girl. She can’t have gone far, she must still be here. After Jace has finished explaining, a nurse walks in and tells me I’m free to go. Before she’s finished I’m out of the tent with the shoe in hand. I am greeted by 1000’s of people, how am I going to find her in all of this? Then I realise that she must be missing a shoe or wearing different colour converses. I start making my way through the crowd and I start looking for different coloured shoes. When I’m at the end of a big crowd I start heading towards the toilets when I see a girl wearing red and blue converses. I look up and I stop because those emerald green eyes are staring right back at me. My gaze locks with hers and all the buzzing of the race disappears. We just stare at each other for what seems like an age but, she rips her gaze from mine and all the buzzing comes back. She starts running away from me, again.
