A/N: Hopefully I'll get back into the routine of updating after this chapter. I doubt you'll have to wait as long again. The song on the side is just there because I really like it and it kind of fits okay bye

Weeks went by since their “date” and Ian still couldn’t stop thinking about it, about Anthony. He kept running through different scenarios in his head and imagining how different things would be if they actually started going out. It was long overdue, that’s for sure, but suddenly going from being best friends to being a lot more is a pretty big deal. Maybe he was just overthinking the whole thing; Anthony made him laugh, blush and just generally make his insides turn to mush when he looked at him in a certain way. He couldn’t remember ever feeling that way about someone before and he may never get the opportunity again. The more Ian thought about it, the more nervous he became. After how sweet Anthony had been lately, he felt obliged to do something romantic in return. The problem was that romance had never really been his thing. He always got worked up to the point where he just didn’t bother. Either way, hopefully things would go well between them.

With a heavy sigh, Ian stepped out of his room to go and check on how the video was coming along. I was a Friday after all. He knocked on the open door of the office so as not to startle Anthony and walked over to see what he was doing on the computer. “How’s the video coming along?” he asked, looking over Anthony’s shoulder.

“I think it’s pretty good,” Anthony turned around and gave him a pleased smile. “Hopefully the fans will think so too.”

“Can I watch it now?” Ian asked him.

“Sure,” Anthony replied and pressed play.

The video had turned out quite well which was a relief considering the shoot had overrun due to a certain someone’s antics. “Awesome,” Ian grinned and lifted up his hand to Anthony’s for a celebratory high five. They held eye contact momentarily before Anthony raised his eyebrows teasingly.

“What?” Ian laughed.

“You wanna watch a movie tonight?” Anthony offered.

“Sounds good,” Ian smiled. It was something they did quite regularly after uploading their Friday video. There was no particular reason behind it; it was just something fun to do together.

“I’m picking the movie,” Anthony added.

Rolling his eyes, Ian sighed. “Of course you are.”

Anthony flashed him one last grin before turning back around to finish uploading the video.

As soon as Ian was out of the room he exhaled quietly. He couldn’t figure out why he was so nervous about telling Anthony how he felt. It hasn’t as if he didn’t already have an idea anyway. His nerves were probably due to the fact that he had no idea how different things would be when they actually started dating. How would their friends and families react? Would Anthony want to be really romantic and cheesy and drag him on loads of dates? Or would he be more relaxed about the whole thing and take things slow and steady? That was what Ian feared the most-messing up. What if he couldn’t live up to Anthony’s expectations and ended up just disappointing him? Or what if Anthony suddenly changed his mind and decided that he didn’t have feelings for him after all? Ian couldn’t see how he’d be able to face Anthony if that happened. He had already been hurt by him before in the past, if it happened a second time it might just crush him. Ian took a deep breath and forced himself to try and calm down. He shouldn’t be stressing out over this. There’s no point worrying about things that are out of your control.

It was hours later when Ian finally managed to drag Anthony away from the computer. “Come on dude, you can read the comments later,” he said as he tugged on Anthony’s arm, although to be fair he had done his fair share of reading comments that day too. That’s how they usually wasted their Friday’s, just reading the endless stream of comments on their latest video until they were too tired to do anything else.
