Throughout the beginning of time and ages of man, we have all come across our fate where people begin to cross and deceive us only to make themselves feel better. We live in a world today that is very crude, harsh, and judgemental. Things are always going to be tough and in the end, its how we are able to succumb to giving in and letting life get the best of us.
Personally how does one move on when it feels as if they have lost so much? How is one able to come back after constantly being told that they are not wanted? How does one go day by day with a smile on their face knowing that they are an accident?
For some people the answer is not clear. What we see on the surface of people is the depiction that we get to how they feel. But what lurks beneath their surface is sometimes the rough waters that even the boldest man wouldn't dare journey. We have seen people in our lives wear fake smiles. Lie about how they really feel, and above all else, go and do bad things to try and ease their pain.
Dependent on the person you are, you may see that one depressed person and think to yourself; "I wonder what it is that I can do to make their lives better?" But then you realize that no matter how hard you try, no matter how much blood, sweat, and tears shed, you never accomplish much other than a smile...
A smile,
Your smile,
The feeling of your smile, your presence, your happiness and character is what gives me the energy to keep going.
There are those who feel as if they have nothing to live for. They feel as if they have to strive and no motivation to keep going. "why would you keep going?" Think about that for a minute, what keeps you going?
Me, what keeps me going are the people that I have in my life. My mother, father, family, friends, all of this is what keeps me going. You have to hold onto what you have, tightly, never letting go or losing grasp. But not only people in my life is something I value, but my possessions that I own and emotions that I feel. As the saying goes; "You never truly know what you have until you lose it all". There are sometimes that I felt this way, but regardless of how many people I may lose, those wounds of who I have lost never heal.
"Time goes and heals all wounds"
Time may help mend friendships in the future, but what this quote does not reflect those that we truly lose. Death goes as a natural event in our lives that we have to witness on multiple occasions. Some of us are able to cope with loss, but however some of us don't. There are those who grieve and those who move on.
On my standpoint with life right now as of this moment, the one quote that keeps me going is; "Tomorrow is going to be a better day". We have to move on from all of these negatives in life and focus on the positives. Because if life were truly full of no positives and all negatives, then there isn't anything truly worth living for at that point in time. But there will be something hopefully soon, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon.
