Not Love (Len x Reader)

Chapter Three: Detention :(

(Y/N) gazed up at the clock as she sat at her small, dusty desk. Now she knew why everyone said detention sucked.
"Len...you're late for detention," said a teacher called Mrs Genda. She usually took detention, but she wasn't very strict. (Y/N) was surprised to see Len walk through the door and sit at the desk beside her.
"Sorry! Natsuki hugged me and wouldn't let go!" he replied casually.
"Why are you in detention, Len?" asked (Y/N) curiously.
"I may or may not have been caught eating a banana in class," he smirked. (Y/N) shook her head and smiled.
"Kids...um...you're kind of supposed to write lines..." said Mrs Genda sheepishly. She wrote two sentences on the board.

I will not waste time when going to get something and be late for class.

I will not eat any sort of food in class.

(Y/N) and Len were not bothered to write lines, so they just started doodling instead. (Y/N) unknowingly blushed as she sketched a picture of Len. Len's mouth watered as he sketched a picture of a banana. After (Y/N) finished her drawing, she got out her songbook that she had kept down her top. After class, she decided to hide it so she wouldn't be bored in detention. She tucked the drawing of Len in a page at the back, and then she turned to a page that had an unfinished song on it.

"Hey! Did you make that up?" whispered Len into (Y/N)'s ear. She jumped, almost dropping her pen.
"Yes....I-I mean no! N-No....." she replied, turning a bright red. Len grinned at her and rubbed his chin.
"Who is this about? Do you have a crush on someone famous?" he asked, putting her on the spot. (Y/N) was NOT ready to tell Len it was him, so she just blurted out the first thing that came to her mind - which was the wrong thing to say.
"Kaito! It's about Kaito! Kaito!" she shouted, shocking both Len and Mrs Genda. The teacher ran away screaming :0.
"Wow! Mrs Genda sure is a wimp!" announced Len, while (Y/N) turned bright red. This was even worse than telling Len the truth!
"So...you have a thing for Kaito, huh? Shall I get you a signed photograph of him?" said Len, his arms folded. (Y/N) was basically slapping herself on the inside, but to Len she politely refused. Then (Y/N) decided that detention was over and, leaving her crush behind, she ran out of the classroom. Her footsteps echoed throughout the hall as she raced to her dorm. She didn't realize that she was crying.
"Now what will I do? I just made things worse!" (Y/N) whispered, entering Dorm One and flopping onto her bed. Wow. Detention with Len had just ruined everything.
