Being the fat girl in high school sucks!! Not being able to go to the “normal” clothes shops or be wearing “normal” clothes or to be “normal”. Well people can you define normal? Because I can’t. People say “normal” is a size 8-10, big boobs, nice butt and NO extra fat is normal, oh and they have to wear short shorts which show their butt cheeks and tops which look like bras. Everyone else who doesn’t look like that is fat, obese, a whale and is put in to the “un-normal” box. Stereotyping is the main reason why so many young girls have depression, anaemia, bulimia and lots of other self-image issues. We are bomb barded with images of thin model and celebrities. Want to know a secret? In the modelling world, a “plus” size model is a size 12-16! Oh hell no! When I think plus size, I think of size 20 and up. Don’t get put down by that because there are millions of people who are in the “Fat or Obese” box too! I know I am, if people don’t like how I look or what I wear then they can shove it up their butts because the only option that matters is mine!
Girls if you think you have to change for a certain someone DON’T!! If they don’t love you for who you already are than they are not the right person for you. The right person will love the parts of you that you don’t, they will love what is on the inside but also what is on the outside and they will love you even if you don’t love yourself. Just remember that everyone has their other half out there so don’t worry if you don’t have a lover in your life right now, because your other half will enter your life at the right time. You just have to be patient. I am 15 and have not had a boyfriend yet. Every time I see this certain girl change her relationship status on face book I think to myself that I am glad that I don’t have someone hanging off my arm like a handbag. I am an independent, strong, beautiful person who doesn’t need someone to tell me.
