So the thing is, I have just started watching this great new show from Dreamworks on Netflix, and I love it. But I cant help but notice how the relationship between Jim Lake and his teacher Walt Strickler recembels the relationship between Danny Phantom and Vlad Plasmius. Walt is Jim's enemy but I still believe he holds affection for the young hero even tho im only at episode 11. In the beginning of said episode Jim also said that Walt had hit on his mom, in other words flirted with her. I do not believe he holds feelings for her but he flirted with her just as Vlad flirts with Maddie, Dannys mother.
Jim has dark hair and blue eyes just like Danny, his mother has ginger hair and he also has a crush on the ''Gothic'' looking girl whose parents hate him. He protects both humans and trolls from the bad trolls and other enemies, just as Danny protects both humans and ghosts from the bad ghosts. His ''enemy'' Walt is a changeling, similar to how Daniels ''enemy'' Vlad is a halfa.
I just suddenly started thinking of how similar these two series really are. They even are almost equally as great in my opinion. You should watch it. If you notice any other resemblance that i failed to mention then i would be happy if you could tell me about it in the comments. Bye ^.^
