"Well then." The cabbie mutters wide eyed, seeing 3 kids covered in snow, laughing until they couldn't get in the car. "Get in the car or I'm taking your money away and driving away!!" The cabbie warned.

"The doughnut store, please." George told the cabbie

They all stopped a few moments later and climbed in. Lockwood and Lucy were still giggling like school girls, but George was grinning from how much fun they had.

"Would that be all?" Julie the worker asked George. Its been a while since anyone in the shop looked outside and none realize that the door has been frozen shut from the -24* F temperature.

"Yes! Thanks again Julie!" George thanked her and payed or the 12 doughnuts they were getting. "Come on guys, I think one of these might be the perfect doughnut!!" George almost shouts excitedly.

"Okay, okay, lets go Lockwood, we need to get the cabbie guy back here." Lucy beckoned Lockwood to the door. She pushed against it, but it would not budge. "Well then," she said annoyed, "I NEED ASSISTANCE!!!" She screamed.

"Okay, but you don't need to scream, like, I'm right here!!" George told her and tried to help her with the door. They failed.

"Lockwood!!" They both synchronized, holding out the 'wood'. Lockwood chuckled and put his hands on the door. He pushed with the help of Luce and George.

"Do you guys need help?" Asked the manager, who came out to their careless screaming.

"Umm..." Lucy started, smacking her lips. "Yeah. We do. I think the door is frozen shut because that sign out there says it's...." Lucy stops to check the temperature. "-24*!??! HOW LONG WERE WE HERE?!?"

"About 20 minutes... not that I am counting at all!" A new worker butts in. He gives Lucy a weird grin and Lockwood a quick glare.

"I think some two people like you Lucyyyyyyy!!" Lucy hears the wretched voice. Then she notices George's bulging back pack. She nudged him.

"Why is he here?!?" She growls.

"Oh, umm. I don't know?" He asked.

"I just called someone, they are coming in about an hour. I am so sorry, Lockwood & Co., this has only happened one other time. I'm the meantime, you can enjoy yourself to some doughnuts, on the house."

"Thank you, Mr. Chase, we appreciate the offer." Lockwood thanked him.

"All the workers are on break since no one could get inside of the building, so, mingle, talk, use your phones. Whatever you kids do." He addressed the workers.

Lockwood & Co. sat down at a table with 6 seats. They all took up half the table, while Julie, another worker named Charlie, and the weird one from before took up the other half. The weird guy kept on staring at Lucy, making her kind of nervous.

Lockwood noticed, like he always did.

"Umm.. what's your name?" He tried to make conversation.
