Hey guys! Idek if anyone is going to enjoy this, but its an idea i've been trying to formulate for years now. Hopefully you like it.

:)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I duck beneath a large branch, as I push it out of my way. The noise of chirping birds and a swift stream fills my ears, as I walk around a huge tree. Flowers bloom, and their aromas fill the air,  the smell of Jasmine overwhelming.  Dew drops glint ever so slightly, as the sun rises above the surrounding hills.

At Dharm International School - found atop some of the less known peaks in the Western Ghats (Pune-ish) - this stunning scenery is normal, and students like me are accustomed to its breathtaking beauty.  It's obviously a boarding school, and we live a minimum of 37 kilometers away from any other form of civilization. It's one of the most attested international schools in India, and some of the world's brightest minds graduate from my school.

But anyone that has actually attended this school for more than a month can vouch otherwise. Frankly, most people that do study here are more or less one of two basic kinds.

1.  spoiled brats whose parents can afford the irrationally high school fees, and need a place to get rid of their mannerless kids.

2. Kids that are forced into attending the school because their parents believed all the nonsense in the media, and want their children to become 'succsessful'

I thankfully belong to the latter of those two kinds. I've been here since second grade, and honestly the only thing that even manages to make me want to wake up in the morning is the nature that surrounds the campus. The ever-changing nature never disappoints, unlike teachers, and grades and 'friends'.

I knew the forest area better than my own house. I grew up finding my way through the wet mud, and thorny branches. I push away a low branch to finally enter the clearing. The clear stream flows gently, reflecting the morning colors. I walk along the stream, watching the leaves dance lazily, and the bees buzz busily.

I see my rock across the water. I mean technically its just a large rock, but since my first day in second grade, when i got lost, and stumbled upon this area, the rock has been my go to place. It's in a clearing, you can see over the hills, and the stream glides ever so softly past. Smaller rocks - seemingly random rocks - manage to create stepping stones that trickle from this side into the stream. They seem to disappear in the middle, but if you're like me you'll notice that the stones angle off to the left.

I place my feet carefully on the dry faces of the rocks to ensure I don't slip. For a second I almost lose my balance, but I steady myself sideways. I find myself peering into my reflection in the clear water. I notice my dream materialize in the reflection. It stands looming over my shoulder behind me. I stare into my dreams eyes. It materializes beside me.

It is a girl today. She has pretty grey colored eyes.

I try to look into her cloudy grey eyes, but they slowly start to turn darker. They become black. I can see her weakening. She turns pale, and her posture droops. Her cheeks hollow out, and she starts to look malnourished.

She flickers.

I taste cold metallic blood in my mouth as I turn away from my disappearing dream.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I shake the eerie feeling away, a shroud of dread seems to enclose me from the nature. The clear sounds now muffled. I walk across the stones slower than before, yet it seems clumsier, like I may fall in any second. The crystal stream, grays over, and my energy seems to drain. I barely make it over to the other side before I collapse onto the rock. I blink furiously, trying to clear my mind. My vision is glazed over. I hear someone in the far distance, but I can't seem to make out the words.
