"you are my apprentice" the figure in the dark trench coat said. This girl was about 5'8, with shoulder length straight black hair, and purple looking eyes. "and you are?". Bobbie asked. "I just died, in a horrible way and your telling me I have to work now. Ah no. I'm going to relax for eternity" she continued. "I am death." The figure said. "and I am Bobbie." Bobbie said in a mocking tone. "look if I got to choose who became death I would have chose someone else but I don't so suck it up or your going to hell" death threatened. "fine, you could have started with that first and I wouldn't have been such a problem" Bobbie said in a whiney voice. Death grabbed Bobbies' arm and transported them to a hospital. "Alright, Lesson 1. If you need to take someone, Do It. If you don't there will be consequences. It happened once before and I got ride of that apprentice quick. Too soft. Take the life when its their time to prevent other people dying before their time" Death said walking up to the bedside. In the hospital bed there was a small girl. Probably no older than 5. She had an oxygen mask on and was taking shallow breaths, and her heart monitor was slow. "She's been suffering since she was born, but she fought us off each time. This time she needs to come with us. If she doesn't, she'll die anyway but her soul will be trapped in the void. The void is a bad place for souls." Death said out loud. "shouldn't you be more quiet". Bobbie whispered. "NO ONE CAN HEAR US UNLESS THEY'RE DEAD, OR A REAPER!" Death yelled mockingly. "okay, jeez. Just tell me next time" Bobbie sulked. Death walked up to the little girl and whispered in her ear. "Madilyn, you have fought long and hard, it is time for you to come with me and be with you grandma and dog buster in heaven" Death sounded very soothing. "okay". Madilyn whispered so faintly Bobbie could barely hear her at the end of the bed. Death grabbed Madilyns' hand and her heart monitor flat lined. "CODE BLUE IN ROOM 203" a nurse yelled. "Its time to go" Death said. She transported Bobbie, and Madilyn up to heaven. There was an angel waiting at the gate. "Madilyn Point. Take care of her and put her with family" Death said in a stern voice. The angel nodded and took Madilyn away. "okay. Now what." Bobbie asked. "nothing right now" death replied then continued "I don't do all the work here. There are reapers who do most of it. I take the stubborn people and make sure everything is running smoothly." Death said looking at Bobbie. "what do you do all day then" Bobbie asked. "I walk among the people and see what needs to be done, check the void and get reapers to take the young, old, and peaceful spirits. Then I go through out hell and earth and make sure the souls are being treated like they should be." Bobbie was about to ask something when Death transported them again.
