Lost Lovers

It was another day and I was just walking to Starbucks for my morning coffee. As I walked in I got my regular caramel frappé. I sat down for awhile and noticed it was time for me to head to my studio. Did I mention I'm not only an actress, but also a fashion designer, a singer and a dancer. Yeah I got into the arts. I left my best friends behind and it hurts, it hurts everyday. I wanted to live out my dreams, but I hurt people in the process. I mean it wasn't just me. Lauren took up an acting gig that was located in Europe. She didn't tell anyone, she didn't even tell me. She knew she was going to leave, but she acted like nothing was going to happen, a week after we graduated she told us she would be leaving in 2 days. It tore the group apart. We grew up together, but ended up apart. Then it was Gus' turn to leave. He got offered a science scholarship to Harvard and no one out of their right minds would pass up Harvard, so he took the offer. Just like Lauren he didn't tell anyone until the day right before he left. He didn't give Ricky any time to process that once he wakes up the next morning, Gus would be gone. Ricky was absolutely broken. I mean that was his best friend. He didn't want him to go, but at the same time he didn't want to hold him back. Both Lauren and Gus left. It was just Ricky and I and let me tell you the 3 months I shared with him before I decided it was time to get serious was really intense, yet it was the best 3 months of my life. Back in high school Ricky and I kinda had a thing. We weren't dating, but after that dance Ricky and I occasionally flirted with each other. I realized however that I can't be living in my dad's house forever. That's when things got serious. I had a talk with Ricky and he gave me some pretty good advise since I wasn't planning on moving away. I got an offer one day to run a fashion company that is now called Lana, its what Ricky used to call me. I soon talked to Ricky and he encouraged me to take the deal even though that would mean I would be moving to L.A. After I left I knew I had hurt Ricky, but he's now a famous pop star like I am in a band called, Forever in your mind. He's also an actor and let me tell you, he grew up pretty well if you ask me. I see him at different events, but I never get a chance to talk to him. He sees me every time. Though he can't just leave his group he always smiles at me and mouths me a Hey. It's a pretty simple gesture, yet it makes me smile every time. I still don't get how he still makes me melt just by a look. I haven't seen Lauren or Gus in awhile though. Lauren is now a very successful actress and I hear she is in the studio recording some songs for her first ever EP. Gus is blowing up from his amazing science skills and Ricky is going on tour. His agents however haven't announced who else is going to be on his tour though.
