SNOW

One day, before the snow came,

it's like you always knew.

You took our promise rings

and placed it on the ground.

When the winter hugged every street,

the rings were covered in white.

And when we

f i g h t

you would remind me of our promise ring.

How it

r e m a i n e d

there,

when the coldness faded away.

That, after all

wars

I'd still be your wife

one

warm

winter.

Like we always knew.
