One day, before the snow came,
it's like you always knew.
You took our promise rings
and placed it on the ground.
When the winter hugged every street,
the rings were covered in white.
And when we

you would remind me of our promise ring.
How it
r e m a i n e d
there,
when the coldness faded away.
That, after all

wars
I'd still be your wife
one
warm
winter.
