Break up

Percy was walking on the beach. It was a beautiful evening ,letting his bare feet sink into the wet sand as he walked along the shore . He felt like he was in his element ,which he was considering he was a son of Poseidon,he felt the cold salt water brush against his feet . The rays of the moons night , the warm breeze of the summer breeze  seeped through his soft ,long ,unruly ,midnight -black hair,it was bliss . That is until  it happened . Annabeth came over to percy as he sat down .

Annabeth was his girlfriend , she was a daughter of Athena .She had honey  blonde hair in a messy ponytail ,with a couple out of place princess curls, it looked really cute. She was wearing ripped blue short shorts  , which showed of her long, amazingly smooth, tanned legs . She had a grey crop top which brought out her eyes .

She sat down next to him with a sad smile on her face ."hey wise girl whats up" percy asked . "We need to talk." She said . Percy's smile dropped ."oh dear... please don't be mad at me ! i know eating the last of your candy without asking you was wrong but it was Grovers idea!"Annabeth looked at him confused "That was you ?! uhg... i guess i shouldn't be surprised . But i actually wanted to tell you ... that i wanna break up." To say Percy was shocked would be an understatement . He looked at her with sad eyes . "why?Why do you want to break up ? we have been through so much together . we killed monsters together . Why Annabeth ? " percy said in a dull, empty tone .  Annabeth sighed "i have fallen in love with someone else . i want to be with him and i don't want to cheat on you either i'm sorry ." she said . Percy stood up "well at least your honest ,but i understand . I hope you are happy together ." Percy stood up and walked down the beech towards the cabins . 

'Well if Annabeth is happy i'm happy' he thought to himself . 

Oh how wrong he was ...

Now when Annabeth said she was in love with someone else ,Percy would have thought it would be someone from the Apollo cabin or the Hermes cabin ,what shocked him the most however, was when he found out who it was . It was the worst day in his life .

He was walking down to the cabins after dinner when he decided he needed a walk on the beech ,maybe the ocean breeze would rejuvenate his attitude for he wasn't over Annabeth yet, not by a long shot. So when he got to the beech his spirits definitely went up . But it all came crumbling down when he saw Annabeth and a guy walk along the beech not a worry in the world ,hand-in- hand laughing . Now you see, Percy was prepared to face the fact that Annabeth would have a new Boyfriend ,but to see that the guy was one of his best friends ,someone who thought he  could trust , someone who thought was the best warrior around ,was dating his ex crushed him .

The couples silhouettes kissed in the moon light . They haven't noticed him yet .  When they turned around Percy only stared at the mans electric blue eyes .

Percy  took a deep breath ..."Jason how nice to see you"
