Eden's Pov

"Welcome back to the show I'm your host Sarah Winters and tonight I'm joined by a special guest the one and only Eden Amanda Ivory." Sarah gave me one of her signature smiles. "How are you? Thank you for agreeing to speak with me!" I smiled. "I'm doing good. Thank you for having me." I could tell she was nervous. She had just started this job not too long ago. But it was most likely what we were about to discuss that had her so shook up. "As you know we're here to talk about Kevin Khatchadourian...You two were 'friends' right?"  I could hear the disgust in her voice when she said his name. Friends? If only. "Yeah, I guess you could say that." I took a sip of the tea sitting on the coffee table in front of me.

"How was your friendship with Kevin? Was it ever violent?" She asked shifting in her seat. "Violent? Never. I mean he never hurt me physically or anything, but other than that it was as normal as a friendship could get with Kevin." My fingers started tapping against my lap. A nervous tick of mine.

"Tell me, how'd you and Kevin become friends? From what everyone was able to tell me he preferred to be by himself." I thought back a long time ago to when Kevin and I met. I wanted to smile but was quick to stop myself.

"He did. He liked being alone he told me it was because he just wanted to be alone so he could think. About, I do not know. There were some things he'd tell me but Kevin had his secrets and a lot of them too." I sighed.

"Did he every talk to you about his future? If he had any plans?" Sarah wouldn't make eye contact with me and if she did it barely lasted three seconds. "Yes actually he did, but I could never tell whether he actually meant what he was saying or if he was joking. It was always hard to tell with him." Sarah had started talking again but I didn't really catch what she said.

------------------

"Hello, Eden I didn't know you were coming over today." She said as she moved to the side so I could walk in the house. "Yeah sorry me and Kevin have this project for school and he wanted me to come over today." I smiled. She walked to the kitchen and I followed. "Well Kevin's outside in the back I was just making Celia something to eat, do you want anything?" "Oh no thank you I'm fine I ate before I came." Just after I said that I was pulled into a hug.

"Eden! You're my friend!" She's always been such a happy little girl. I kneeled down. "Yes I am and since we're friends I brought you something." She started jumping up and down excited. I took my bag and set it on the counter before opening it. I pulled out a little white bunny with a pink bow tied around his neck. "Mr. Rabbit! You got him, thank you so much, Eden!" She held the bunny against her and hugged me. I remember when I was babysitting her one time we walked next to a store when she saw the bunny, unfortunately, I didn't have my wallet so we weren't able to get him.

"You're very welcome. Now I'm gonna go see Kevin alright?" She nodded before playing with her red dog and his new friend Mr. Rabbit.

I grabbed my bag and went to the backyard. Kevin was standing in the yard his eyes focused on the target not paying attention to the fact that I just came outside. His bow is raised in the air and he pulls the arrow back. He let's go, sending the arrow flying until it hits the center of the target. He lowers the bow. "It's not nice to keep people waiting Eden." He said turning towards me. "What?" My brows furrowed in confusion.

"I said lets me at four-thirty, not five o'clock." He smirked. God, I swear sometimes I just want to smack that smirk right off his face. "Traffic Kevin, I got held up." "Liar." He chuckled. "I know you were with Finn you don't have to lie. Come on let's go to my room so we can get started." He brushed against me as he walked into the house.

I followed him silently up to his room. He closed the door behind us. I set my bag down on his desk next to his. I sit on his bed. "Are we really just gonna sit here and work?" I look up at him. "Well, what do you think?" "Come on Eden we're already half way done with this stupid project and we still got another week before we have to turn it in. Let's do something...fun!" "Like what Kev?" He pushes me down on the bed. His hands rest on my hips. "You know I hate sharing, especially you." He whispered before leaning down his lip pressed against mine.

----------------------

"Mrs.Ivory? You alright?" Sarah asked concerned. I look up. "I'm sorry I-i can't do this..." The tears started to well up in my eyes. My aunt comes in and wraps her arm around me before pulling me away from the cameras. She walked me to my room before I told her I wanted to be alone. She simply nodded before walking back downstairs. Probably to get rid of the reporter.

I locked my door before walking to my bed. Everything came back to me. How much pain he caused, the suffering. All the people he killed. Even his own sister and father. I was in the school that night. But yet I'm the only one besides him who made it out unharmed. The look he had on his face as his arrows hit my friends like it was just targeting practice for him. He didn't care about them, he felt no remorse. I have the same damn question in my head. Why the hell didn't he kill me?
