Note: A crossover story between OUAT and The Flash which I know is very impossible to have but hey, a girl can dream right? It would be really cool though to have this kind of crossover since it would be from two different stations and two different genres that were considered to be really opposites- Fantasy and Sci-Fi. At least there would be a huge crossover between the superheroes though so... yeah.
I'm posting this under the Flash because I think it's only fitting because the whole story revolves around SnowBarry. My other story which centers around Henry and Camryn is still on going so if you guys are reading that, I must warn you that spoilers are planted here so if you don't want to be spoiled, don't read this.
If you guys hadn't figured out already, this is the story I was talking about in my one shot story entitled: Even if it hurts?
Disclaimer: I don't own The Flash or OUAT. But I do own Camryn! She's actually a character from my OUAT story. So there's that.. and I also own the plot... if that helps? Okay, I'm gonna stop writing this a/n now.
-Storybrooke-
"Don't you have anything better to do than to sit there all day?"
Henry Mills looked up from the comic book he was reading only to be greeted by the sight of his best friend's annoyed expression as she slid his usual order of hot chocolate with whipped cream topped with cinnamon powder.
He flashed her a grin and raised the mug up, ignoring her question and went back to reading.
"It's summer break, Cam," he told her after he heard her huff, clearly annoyed at being ignored. "I think I deserve to sit all day, doing nothing since I've been chased around by zombies, monsters, and other crazy stuff." He looked up to see her leaning towards the counter, her apron loose. "Besides, I think you're just jealous that I get to sit around while you have to work your ass off just so you could keep your job."
Camryn rolled her eyes as she flashed him a sickening sarcastic smile- a trademark look that only she could pull off. "I am the daughter of the rich god, Henry. I don't have to work so I can support myself in this town."
"Arrogant," Henry countered, making her grin all the more.
"Keep telling yourself that, hotshot." Camryn chuckled as she returned to her job in response to Ruby's pointed looks in her direction. "You were the one who adamantly pressed that I should 'contribute' to society."
"Yeah, and by contributing, I meant that you should not complain about your job and instead, allow your best friend to hang out in Granny's without having to order anything. I can only spend so much money since I am on probation with both of my moms."
"Serves you right for leaving without a note," she countered. "And before you protest, I never did ask you to follow me around, remember? That was all on you. So if you think you can guilt trip me, you need to stop dreaming."
Henry groaned as he threw his head back. "I really should've taken Belle's offer to read in the library instead of hanging out with you," he said playfully. "You are a distraction from my time with the Flash."
Camryn, who was currently taking Grumpy's order, looked back at him in confusion. "The what now?" she found herself asking as she gave the order paper to the diner's cook. She turned to look at the clock, then at Ruby who simply nodded at her, signaling that her shift had just ended.
Seeing her confused look, he couldn't help but wish he had brought his camera with him. It was a rare sight to see her royal highness of smartasses get confused over something.
