I wake up feeling stiff and raw with my stomach rumbling. As much as I'm hungry right now, I don't wanna eat! My head continued it's light throbbing. My throat was parched dry. How long was I asleep? I turn to my left to check the time in the clock and I almost cry out with pain. But I made it- it was 5:00pm.

''Girl, are you awake!?'', Kate whistles through the room.

''Ya!'', I croak.

''You must be hungry. I got you some soup'', she says, smiling.

As the monster in me scratched and clawed all around in my stomach, soup was pretty good than nothing. Even as I say that a ravenous creature is tearing my intestines apart, I didn't really feel like eating.

''Nice'', I whisper and get the soup closer to me. The first spoon was all the encouragement that I required. Later I didn't even know when I finished it all off.

As Kate picks up the platter, I couldn't help but ask again.

''Did Seb-'', I didnt have to continue before she replies, ''Oh yeah, he came to see you but you were out.''

She points at the tiny glass vase on the side table that held a bunch of fresh peonies, glazed a mist of a gentle shade of pink and stark white.

Wow, I loved its elegance, its gentle aromatic breeze.
I gesture Kate to get me the vase and she complies accordingly.

It's breeze waved over to me, a smooth gentle fragrance. It's petal, velvet smooth, as if extracted from the most silkiest, smoothest, sleek elixir, forming it's gracious mellow colour.

Nice. I look up as I  feel a sudden tinkling presence.

''Admiring my present then?'', a lean dark-haired figure spoke from the door frame.

Even before the name escaped my lips, the storm grey clouds meet my eyes.

Sebastian...........

Sebastian...........

''Did I surprise you?'' his cool, calm voice reaches me.

''Surprise me?'', I was beyond words.

He smiles, a heartwarming delicacy. I lick my dried lips involuntarily.

'' I guess you did pretty much more than that!'' I say.

''Thank you anyway, these peonies are gorgeous.'' I confess.

''I know and I knew you would like it'', he smiles and asks, '' How are you feeling now?''

''Way better!'' Ironical because my voice decided to break right at that moment.

He snickers but covers it up with a cough.

'' I should probably have a shower now'' I say as I try to get up.

''Can you?'' He asks with his eyebrows furrowed in tension.

'' I have to'' I shrug, '' I just don't understand how you are sitting next to me without cringing away. I literally stink like two days old rubbish!''

''You don't stink!'' He exclaims quizzically with his one eyebrow perfectly arched and imitates to sniff the air.

'' I don't?'' I ask back.

''Well in that case....'' he slowly arches his way towards me in the notion to show he was going to try and smell me out.

''Go away'' I say and push him back playfully.
