This book/shortish story thing is dedicated to OlliMassIndex because his work inspired me to write something and actually put it out there (since I hadn't in a while). He is an amazing person, writer, and friend.

"What are you going to sing today?"
"It's a classic. I would sing it to my girlfriend when she was in the hospital. I promised her that I would sing it on a big stage one day".
"Is she okay?" A judge asked
"She's better"
"That's good to hear. Please, the stage is all yours."
"This is the only reason I'm here. I don't want to win, I want her to be happy."
The girl steps back from the mic, taking a breather.
Stepping closer to the mic, she starts singing, slowly.
"You are my Sunshine...."
"My only Sunshine..."
"You make me happy.."
"When skies are grey......"
"You'll never know Dear, how much I love you..."
"Please... Don't take... My Sunshine away."
