It's six in the morning when my alarm goes off. I drag myself out of bed to get ready. My mom calls my name from down stairs telling me that I am going to be late for school but I know it's a lie. She does this to scare me and make me get ready fast. The fact is that I fall for it every time. So I rush to put clothes on, brush my teeth and hair, and run down stairs to grab a quick snack and run outside to catch my bus then I realise that the bus isn't there and I take out my phone to check the time and I still have an hour before the bus comes.
I drag myself back to my house and sit on the couch watching videos on my phone till it's time to leave. The problem here is that I am not good at keeping track of time, so when I check the time my heart races as I run out the door I see my bus stop at the bus stop. I sprint towards the bus just as the bus driver starts to close the door.
