You knew who Derek was, but you two never actually talked. You thought he was rude and cocky so you avoided him at all costs. What you didn't know was he had the biggest crush on you. One day at lunch, he sat by you. "Are you lost?" You asked. He laughed and shook his head. "Um no I actually came here to talk to you." You tried to hide the blush on your cheeks. "What do you want?" "Go on a date with me." He said. "I don't know you. And what I do know, you're rude and cocky and not my type." "Well maybe you should get to know the real me before you judge." He said shrugging his shoulders. You raised your eyebrows and turned to fully face him. "Okay tell me about yourself. What do you like to do?" "Well, I like to pet puppies, help old ladies cross the street and take long walks on the beach." You laughed and looked down. "Okay Hale, I'll go on a date with you." He smiled and stood up. "Awesome. I'll pick you up Friday at six." "I'll see you then."
