So, it's the beginning of high school. My friends and I have already decided nothing could tear us apart. But honestly I think Gabriel might break that promise. Wait, you haven't met me. I'm Payton Lace! My friends are Jaslyn Jewell, Gabriel Kale, Sami Smith, and Angel Gray. We've been friends since junior high. Not that long but two years strong. First day of high school is today.
So I get dressed. I throw on a pair of tight white and gray leggings, a big sport pink shirt, with my pink converse.
I put my brown hair in a messy bun then do my make up. Mascara, eye liner, and light pink lip gloss to make my green eyes stand out! Sounds about right for everyday.
I pick up my back pack and put it on my back. Then I grab my athletics bag for 3rd period and zoom out of my house, down the street.
Along the way I met up with Trinity,
"Morning Trin!" I sang and smiled.
"Morning sunshine." She replied groggily. Trinity and I have been friends since elementary school. It was always fun with her. Everything was so great. I cant wait for today! I took her donut out of her hand and bit it. Her brown eyes rawred with anger. She tightened her blonde locks of hair in her ponytail.
"Hey! Payton!" She yelled at me, laughing. She took it back and continued to eat it.
I laughed, "Trin, I didn't have breakfast!"
"Not my fault." She said with a stuffed mouth. We soon passed Gabriel's house. He ran out the doorway and bumped into me. Knocking me down.
"GABRIEL!" I screeched. He held his hand down and helped me up. His dark blue eyes seeping into my soul. He ran his left hand threw his brown hair, being a little sexy jerk/gentlemen he is.
"Sorry tiny." He told me. I crossed my arms and speedily walked in front of him, as well as Trinity. I could hear their conversation behind me.
"Hey Trinity. Trying out for soccer this year?"
"Nah, I rather get my studies good and get valid Victorian of the class."
"Oh cool." I could tell by his attitude he waved his hands sassily. She giggled.
"I want to get into a good college, mister." She fessed.
"Well maybe you should actually study and not do your DJing shit." I commented. They both gasped as we arrived at school.
"Payton! Watch you're language!" Trinity scolded.
"You're not my mom." I rolled my eyes as Angel came into view.
"Hey guys.." Angel said softly. I smiled and hugged Angel.
"Hey little one." I said sweetly. He smiled faintly and hugged back. I let go of him and lifted up his sleeves. Sadly I saw cuts. I frowned.
"Not again Angel.."
"I cant help it mom.." He replied sadly. He does call me mom, only because the way I treat him. He's like my precious little baby. Seriously how adorable. I pushed his pink and black emo hair to the side.
"Its ok. They'll heal. Just no more ok?" I state.
"Yes ma'am." He replied and moved his hair back to cover his icey blue eyes. I frowned once again and looked back at Gabriel. Gabriel was talking to Trinity. Biting his lip like he was interested in her.
"Stop flirting you two." Me and Angel tell them in union. We all laugh, as Sami was walking up confused. Her brownish/blondish hair in a French braid and her brown eyes sparkling in the sun.
"What's going on? Why am I so confused?" She asked.
Angel told her, "Well uh.. Trin and Gabe got a.. thing for each other you know." He winked deviously at Sami. She busted out laughing, dropping her books.
"Crap." I said as I helped Sami pick up her books. We were late to our first period, and it was the first day of school!! No. My parents are going to kill me. Sami pushed up her glasses and hugged her books tightly.
"Ready everyone?" Trinity asked politely.
"Yes, grandma." Everyone else but Trinity said in union, then ran to first period laughing side by side.

After first period Angel pulled me aside. He said he wanted to tell me something.. I don't really know. But this little dude has my side.
"Mom, I need to come out to you." He said scared, I patted his head in reassurance. Then looked down on to him.
"Tell me. I got your back on anything."
"Well.. I'm gay." He said and I jumped a bit. He looked up at me, hope in his eyes.
"That's all?" I asked suspicious.
"Well... I.."
"Spit it out Angel."
"I think I do like someone.." he told me. Hell I almost fainted.
"Who is it?"
"You know that other freshman.. the one with blue and green hair?.. That wears purple conta-" I cut him off.
"Zee?!" I asked excitedly. Zee was a cute little guy. I wouldn't date him, but he's like a Angel dude.
"Yes.." He said quietly.
"But you can't tell anyone!"
"I promise, I wont." I promised him, and with that we closed our lockers. Then headed to second period. Angel and I walked in complete silence to second period. On our way we ran into Jaslyn.
"PAYTON." She screamed.
"JASLYN." I yelled at her. We gave each other huge hugs. Angel just stood there.
"How's our child?" She asked and let go of me.
"He's fine, see?" I replied sweetly then motioned to Angel. See, me and Jaslyn were known as the "lesbians" in junior high. Only because of the way we acted towards each other. That's how damn close I am to her. Her soft hands brushed against Angels face as her green/blue eyes light up. He smiled and looked up at her. I smiled.
"Angel. I missed you, my baby boy." She hugged him.
"I missed you to, father." He joked and hugs back. We all laughed. The bell rang and we walked into class. With that.. Everyone had an ok first day.
