POV:  In Third person

Taking in a breath and then releasing slowly, he placed half of the arrow on the arrow's rest. Then, attach the back of the arrow to the bowstring with the nock. He then slowly raised the wooden bow while drawing it level with his dominant eye.  Letting out another long breath, he relaxed into his stance, completely forgetting about his surroundings. He aimed for the large red target. He was in his own little world now, hoping to hit dead center. The arrow released, letting a swoop of air flow past him, and quicker than the eye could see, it hit the middle of the target. A small smile spread across his lips as he lowered the arrow. He smiled bigger as he looked at the other 12 arrows, all in the same area. Right in the middle of the target.

"Vic! Are you done yet?" A hand on his shoulder startled him, and he quickly turned to find his best friend Roe looking up at him.

"Uh.. actually, yeah. I just finished." Vic pointed to the many arrows on the target and smiled again.

"WHOA!!!" Roe threw her hands in the air and dashed to the targets in the field.

"HOW!?! How do you even use these things!" Roe poked at one of the arrows and let out a little squeak when it fell to the ground. "Heh..whoops."

Vic laughed and went to go gather the many arrows. "So, how was the gardening club? Anything...you know...Exciting happen yet."

Roe let out a snort and followed him to the storage room. " Yes.... OK no. But meh, it's a gardening club. When would anything exciting happen? Like...ever." Vic put away all his things and turned to her, and his face scrunched to a scowl.

"Then why did you choose that club anyway." He could see the blush on her face as she bashfully swayed from side to side and avoided his gaze.

"PSSH, don't tell me it's just because it's the only club that ends at the same time mine does!" The blush was noticeably darker, and Vic scoffed.

"Look, Roe, You should pick a club you like. Not one that allows you to walk home with me." He faced palmed at her half-hearted shrug and turned to take off his shirt. Of course, Roe's face heated even more to an almost impossible shade of red as she turned around quickly.

"Why do you always change here? There are boy changing rooms yah know!" Vic changed in the shed simply because it was quicker, and he was the last club member left, so no one was around to see, besides Roe, who should be used to it by now. Vic chuckled at her and finished putting on the clean shirt.

"Like you should be complaining. I know you don't mind. You're just embarrassed." He reached around her and pinched her cheek, causing her to turn around and glare at him.

"UGH! Stop treating me like a kid!!!! It doesnt embarras me..i-i i just dont want you to feel uncomfertable. That's all." Vic slowly pulled up his shirt and smirked at her as her hands flew up to cover her eyes.

"AHH WHAT ARE YOU DOING!! PERVERT!!" And with that, Roe was flying down the path screaming incoherent things. Vic let out a small laugh and picked up his bow and bag. It was roughly 7pm, which is right about the time it started getting chilly and dark in New York. Vic knew he'd have to hurry home, for he wouldn't be able to see his hands in front of his face soon. Not worrying about Roe, who was undoubtedly gone by now, he walked quickly towards the main road.
