The wedding celebration continued 'til the night lose it's youth. Both the bride and the groom were busy with their own businesses that they didn't noticed the time. Kagetora was busy entertaining some of his guests, his former teammates and classmates while Aoi was on the other side of the reception hall, talking to her old colleagues.
He only headed to her direction when he noticed her acting strange and out of her usual self.
"Aoi."
"I'm fine. There's nothing you have to worry about," she lied, wiping off the tears from the corner of her eyes. She was already alarmed by the look on his eyes before he could even say another word.
She knew he's a worrywart and she didn't want to bother him 'cause of her weakness.
"But you're ... crying."
"It's nothing. Just tears of joy," she said, lessening her new husband's doubt.
"Aoi, I know when you're lying and not," he uttered. Still, he don't believe his new wife and her excuse.
"Of course! I'd be in tears especially now that I'm finally married to the first man I fell in love with." She forced a chuckle.
"Yes, but that doesn't mean you'd keep a secret from me. We just got married, Aoi. Atleast let me remind you."
"Oh man, you really know me." She lowered her head in defeat. There's really no way she could deceive him. He know her well and all her weaknesses.
"I told you already. There's no need for you to keep on holding on the past, Aoi," he said, putting an arm over her shoulder. He pulled her closer for a hug. He let her cried on his chest and he gently comforted her. Few minutes passed before she finally stopped sobbing on his torso and she whispered, "Thank you" to his very ears.
"By the way, Tora. There's still another thing that kept on bothering me," she said, changing the topic.
"What is it now?"
"It's about Riko and Daiki."
"Yes. Don't worry 'bout them. They'll be fine. They're no longer kids."
"But they still keep on quarreling like pre-schoolers."
"Who said?"
"Look." She pointed a finger to the direction of their children.
He didn't believe her at first but when he saw his own daughter, Riko, punched her son, Aomine, in the stomach, he shook his head in disbelief and at the same time he felt pity for the Touo ace.
"But I thought they were --"
"Not when we're not looking," she cut him off.
"Ouch! What was that for?!" Aomine groaned in pain after receiving a direct blow on his abdomen from Riko.
"What now if you don't like me. I don't even like you too! Not in the slightest!" She rasped, placing her arms over her torso.
"What? I haven't said anything!" He defended.
The two squabbled like there's no other people watching/listening from their blathering. They continued they arguement until she got pissed of him and she decided to give him another of his ruthless punches . Kuroko and the rest of the Generation of Miracles couldn't do anything in the process. They didn't stopped her nor save him from his cruel sister.
He frantically flinched in fear of tasting another blow from her. His eyes instantly closed by the time her fist nearly touched his face.
"Eh?" His eyes blinked in surprise upon regaining vision. He was saved. Her iron fist didn't land on his face, luckily for him.
