“The only thing more frustrating than slanderers is those foolish enough to listen to them.”

Perrie's P.O.V.

Camera flashes practically blinded me as Zayn and I made our way towards the restaurant. Honestly, I hated this place, but Zayn insisted we eat here. I had rolled my eyes at the idea, but he was the one driving, so this is where we ended up.

As we entered the restaurant, people turned to look. I saw some point. But I ignored them. I was supposed to be all smiles so that it would promote Little Mix, but I wasn't in the mood to smile. The only reason I was on this stupid date was because I was getting revenge on all of those bloody Directioners. One of the waitresses walked up and handed us menus. I knew that wasn't how it was done, but apparently, she knew who we were.

"Sit where you'd like." She said shakily before looking down. I gave her a friendly smile when she looked back up, and she looked more comfortable. Then she walked off, no doubt waiting someone else's table.

Zayn led me to an empty booth in the corner, stating that we'd probably get less recognition if we sat there. It was too bad I wanted recognition. But there wasn't another table open, so I reluctantly sat at that table.

I sat across from Zayn and opened the menu. I scanned over it, but I couldn't decide what I wanted. "Why did you want to go out?" He asked.

I tried to ignore the question, but I couldn't bring myself to be that rude. I didn't look up from the menu when I spoke though. "Can't I just go out with my boyfriend without management having something to do with it?"

He scoffed. "Perrie, we aren't even really dating."

I glared up at him and held a finger to my lips. "Scream it to the world, why don't you?"

He raised his hands in self defense. "Sorry."

It wasn't that I didn't like Zayn- because he was completely likeable and handsome- it was just that we didn't get along. I looked back down at the menu. I was in the mood for seafood. Maybe they had flounder or salmon. I searched for it, and they did.

The waitress came to our table. "What do you want to drink?" She asked.

"I'll have tea." I ordered. Zayn ordered soda.

When she rushed off, he spoke up. "I keep getting this feeling that there's some ulterior motive here."

I rolled my eyes and looked up at him. "Why do you keep assuming that?"

"This isn't like you." He observed. "You never call me up and ask to go out. You go out with the girls if you want to have fun."

"Look, you wanna know the reason I wanted to go out with you?" I snapped. "I keep getting fucking hate mail on fucking Twitter because Management says we have to be together to promote my fucking band!" It was rather loud, but thankfully no one seemed to hear it. I glanced around to make sure. Then I looked back at him. His jaw was set, and anger shone in his eyes.

"That's the only reason, then?" He growled.

"Zayn-" I began.

"No, Perrie." He gritted his teeth. "I don't wanna hear it."

"Listen to me." I said. "I don't wanna hurt you or anything, I just need to show them that-"

"Show them what?" He exclaimed. "You're the one I'm being forced to date, not them! What should it matter that a few of them get out of line."

"Huh, that's a way to explain it." I retorted.

"Don't insult them." He hissed.

"I'm not!" I protested. He stood up just as the woman brought out the drinks.

"We've decided that we aren't hungry." He said bitterly before walking out.

I gave the waitress an apologetic smile before hurrying out after him.

"Zayn!" I called. He ignored me as he made his way towards the car. "Zayn please!"

He got in the driver's side, and with a sigh, I got in on the other side.

I shut the door and he started the car up. "Zayn, I-"

"Perrie, just shut it, okay?" He snapped. "I don't want to talk about it."

"Too bad." I spat. He looked at me.

"What are you even gonna say?" He cried. "That they're wrong and you're right and you win because we're being forced into a relationship neither of us want?"

I opened my mouth to speak, but he kept going.

"No, you're gonna listen." He growled. "I'm tired of being around you when you're like this, Perrie! You're a sweet girl, you really are, but recently, you've become a royal bitch!"

I glared at him and he quietened down.

"I know you hate this as much as I do, so maybe we can talk Management out of this." He suggested.

I frowned, but nodded. "Sounds great to me."

Jade's P.O.V

Perrie was home quicker than I thought she'd be.

She walked into the house, slamming the door behind her, then she stormed into the bedroom. I looked at the bedroom door as she slammed it too.

With a sigh, I shut my laptop and went to the door. I was hesitant at first, but then I knocked.

"Perrie?" I asked.

There was a muffled: "What?"

"What happened?" I called through the crack.

She didn't answer. Then I heard her feet hit the floor. I backed away so she could open the door.

I frowned when it swung open. Her face was red and her hair was dishevled. She'd changed into pajamas, abandoning the white dress on the floor.

"I think Zayn and I broke up." She explained. "He found out that I was using him to get revenge."

"I'm sorry." I said before pulling her into a hug.

"It's okay." She hugged me back tersely, then moved away. "I have a feeling Management will be pretty mad though."

I chuckled. "Nah, they'll just get him to date someone else, and you too probably."

She groaned at that. "Ugh, I hate boys."

I laughed. "You'll find the right one someday."

"I don't think I will." She sighed before moving back into the room and flopping down in her bed. She burrowed in and snuggled up to the covers.

"Did you eat?" I asked, changing the topic.

"No." She mumbled into the comforter.

"Neither have I." I frowned. "You want me to order pizza?" I asked.

"That would be nice." She sighed and I nodded.

"Pepperoni?" I questioned.

"Pepperoni." She confirmed.

"Alrighty then." I said before skipping off to dial the number to Pizza Hut.

A/N: Well there's that! Did you guys like it? I hope so.

I just needed to say that if my updates are slow, I'm sorry. My dad's girlfriend is moving out and she's taking the wifi with her so I may not get to update as much as I'd like. We'll just have to see what happens, I guess.

Anyways, don't forget to vote and comment :))
