3rd POV

Frisk had considered her first week of school the toughest one, but probably the most interesting. After her first day, she immediately became good friends with some of her classmates, including Alphys, Undyne, and even Sans' brother, Papyrus. Sans, however, was a completely different story. After the first day back, Sans didn't really speak to Frisk much. Frisk wondered if she had done something wrong, or said something offensive. But Judging by Sans' character, she figured she would have known if she upset him.

Second period rolls around the following Monday, and Frisk is excited to start working this week with her assigned dance partner, who turns out to be Undyne. After warm ups, the two walk over to an open space and start getting their thoughts together about each other's dance styles.

"Okay punk, all you basically need to know about capoeira is that it's like a fight that's become a dance. You will really need to stay on your toes and there's a good chance you'll be airborne here and there. It can get aggressive too, so my tip to channeling that aggression is to release anger and stress during your dance. So with that out the way, what can you teach me about...what is it that Ms. Ashton wants you to teach me?"

"She wanted me to teach you contemporary, since ballet is almost directly opposite of you, and she wants another student to teach you that later..."

Undyne thinks it over and nods, looking back down at Frisk and waiting for her to continue on with her explanation of her dance style.

"Well, contemporary and capoeira do have something in common, like most dance styles do, and that's channeling emotion, only contemporary expression more solemn emotions, like sadness, grief, and lament, but it can also express positive emotions such as liberation, peace, and even subtle happiness and contentment. The physical style itself can be awkward if you don't associate the moves with some emotion. The dance I performed on our first day was a bit of a mixed contemporary style, but I managed to embody some sort of emotion, did I not?"

"Well yeah, you seemed like really sad and lonely." Undyne crossed her arms, trying to remember the dance Frisk had performed.

"Exactly! I've actually felt sadness and loneliness, so I was able to interpret those emotions into a dance, just like you interpret your anger and stress into yours. Dance is a language we cannot speak, but we can feel, and that is truly what makes it so powerful."

"Very well-said Frisk!" Ms. Ashton praises from a few feet away, "I could not have said it better myself, class. Dancing is a way for us to express our innermost feelings and emotions that we cannot put into words, and has been this way since the art of dance was created. This should also allow you to consider your partners' dance styles. What are they telling you? I expect you all to know each other better than you would have thought by the end of the month. Back to work!"

Sighing as he threw himself onto his bed, the white-haired teen comic relished in finally relaxing after a long day at school. His hair stuck to his face, still damp from his recent shower. He picks up his phone and scrolls through the various social media apps for a long while, before his brother knocks on the door as the sun starts setting.

"Hello Brother! I wanted to inform you that I am heading to work now, and I will be back around eleven o'clock tonight. There's dinner in the fridge, for I have already eaten. Is there anything you need?" By now, Sans had sat up in his bed, scratching his head while listening to his brother.

"Nah, not really Paps. They only have you scheduled for a few hours tonight?" Sans asked softly, and Papyrus nodded.

"Unfortunately, yes. It's a weekday, so they don't need my talents as a guard as much."
